We have been to Clancy’s multiple times while down south with family and it’s mostly been good. However this time it was pretty average. Food was nice enough, but service was poor. The restaurant itself was very quiet and staff weren’t run off their feet, so the fact that the girls working ignored my husband whilst he stood waiting to order, was very poor. The same went when I was waiting to order drinks, one of the bar tenders was quite busy and I saw a waitress walk past multiple times and look at me, yet there was no sense of urgency to actually approach me and ask if I needed to order my drinks. The waitresses also just saunter around doing not much, so it is annoying when they don’t help you and you have to get up to get your own plates to share entree. Quite disappointing but hopefully it will be better next time.

Four of us enjoyed a good lunch here during our stay at Margaret River for a few days. Pretty easy to find off Caves road nestled among a wooded area with room for kids to run around and play. We enjoyed the food. The fisherman's basket, the fish and chips. There was a platter for one priced at $41 which was popular as was the seafood linguine. Service was excellent with personalized service by Daniel.

We had organised a small, casual wedding at Smith's Beach and afterwards needed to eat somewhere. We searched a lot of the restaurants in that area, however, all too formal and pricey so instead we decided on Clancy's Fish Pub in Dunsborough and it was fantastic. The atmosphere was great and the staff were amazing. Our ages ranged from a 6 year old to two 80 year old and it suited everyone of us. It was fun and in a great setting. The whole team there were so attentive and fun and they were great to be around. Now before you think they were wonderful to us because it was a wedding, wrong, they didn't know it was a wedding until after we had been there for a while and it had made no difference. Could not recommend Clancy's enough. Oh and by the way food was delicious! We could not thank Daniel and the crew enough. It would certainly be a place we would return to when down that way again!

My wife and I both had fish and chips .The batter was light and the fish fresh and tasty. The good food was matched with good friendly customer service. Will definitely come back next time I’m in Dunsborough.

We shared two meals - a hearty seafood soup and a seafood platter. When we arrived, we were presented with dirty old photocopied menus. For the price of a meal, they could afford to give each patron a fresh menu. The bathrooms had no hot water for handwashing and lacked hygienic drying facilities. We had to go to the counter to order - no table service. The tables didn't seem clean. The place had two fires going, but it was cold inside, not that comfortable. Large wall of sliding doors offered lovely view of bush.

Had a wonderful meal with two other couples. However, they do not take table bookings for groups of less than 8 so be prepared to wait if you go at a peak time. Meals were excellent and served quite quickly. The seafood platter for one ($41) was the stand out, but the chilli mussels were not too far behind. Drink prices also very reasonable too. Great job guys!

Ever holiday each year for the past 4 years we have been visiting Clancys dunsborough for a yearly dinner unfortunately this year we were so disappointed with the food and service and won’t be rushing to go back again. Lovely scenery but that’s where it ends, food over priced and very average. Seafood platter for 2 costing $92 with what looked like frozen squid from coles, loaded with cold chips and tiny Exmouth prawns, 2 oysters and cold mussels was not good value for money. To say we spent $184 plus drinks for a family of 5 we’d expect better food and service.

We had a late lunch in Sunday afternoon, managed to get 2 tables for large family group of 14. Fantastic range of tap beers, the food was pretty good. Ordered the seafood platter for the kids to share (3), prawn tacos for the rice and I had the special fish and chips. Great value $ and service was impressive even though it was pretty busy. Will go back again!! Thank you

We decided to go to Clancy’s Fish Pub for lunch today based on hearing great things about it, unfortunately it missed the mark for us. We had the seafood platter which looked impressive but was overloaded with chips, fried fish and fried squid with limited fresh mussels and prawns. Also, the fish and chips was very greasy, we had to pull the batter off to eat the fish as it was too oily. Plus side, the mussels were really tasty and the chips were good too.

Ate here on a Friday evening while staying in Yallingup. Large and spacious dining area inside with views out over the alfresco dining to a lake surrounded by trees and greenery. We both had the fish blackboard menu evening special, which was delicious, You order at the counter and the meals are delivered to your table. A highlight dear to my heart was the extensive and I mean extensive, range of craft and other beers/ciders all available on tap. Enjoyable evening.

After dining at Fremantle and Canning Bridge Clancys was expecting a bit more. Ordered the seafood platter which was ok but the grilled fish component was tiny and tasteless. Also ordered prawn tacos which was basic at best and definitely not worth $18. Won't be back.

I have visited this Clancys many times over the last 15 years and this latest meal was easily the worst experience I have had at the venue. Myself and my brother are both seafood lovers and we decided to share a seafood platter. It was an absolute disgrace and a complete waste of money. The platter consisted of: 2 small oysters, a dozen chilli mussels, 1 1/2 pieces of battered fish, 6 small frozen prawns (which lacked any flavour), a serving of dusted fried squid and more chips than either of us knew what to do with. This was $90 and to say that both of us were less than impressed was an understatement. The place used to serve decent seafood. Not sure what’s happening lately.

Being the middle of school holidays during COVID times, I wasn’t expecting much. How wrong I was. Staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. We placed our food order, went to the bar to order drinks came back to our table and our food arrived within a couple of minutes and all together. The food was fresh crispy and delicious. Our table of 6 ordered a seafood platter, a couple of fish and chips and kids chicken strips and chips. The restaurant, grounds and toilets were all very clean. Plenty of grassed area for kids to runaround. Will definitely dine at Clancy’s Dunsborough again.

We were in the area and although Clancy’s is a chain, it was immaculate and well positioned next to a zip line place so for kids young and old, a zip line adventure and then food with Clancy is the way to go. Plenty of outside heaters, wood fires inside, a manager who was hip and sassy, staff were super friendly, fully licensed, great food and FAST (though we were the sole eaters there!). Fully recommended.

Very nice location, ideal for groups, great selection of local beers, ciders and wine, although some wine choices ran out of stock. Food was average, prices were on higher side, closes early maybe due to rural location. Not in a rush to return, prefer to stay in Dunsborough than try organise limited transport options to and from location.
