This place is buzzing with locals...often a good sign! We only found it because we asked a local for a suggestion for a good place to stop for lunch. She was spot on! The staff are efficient, friendly, relaxed & engaging. The cafe is set in beautiful surroundings with decking & courtyard spaces surrounded by shrubs & flowers right in town. We will definitely return here.

We dropped into this cafe for morning coffee whilst travelling from Albany to Busselton and were quite surprised by the quality and standard of food, especially for a small country town cafe. We had coffee and cake which was very good, especially the coffee which was the best we had whilst travelling throughout the SW of WA. The ambience was great, staff very friendly and the setting was unique, very well put together.

A lovely little cafe tucked away on one of Denmark’s side streets. Sat outside on a sunny day, though would love to return and soak up the beautiful indoor atmosphere. The vibe was the highlight, making up for the somewhat average quality of the food. I had the herb and pea fritters, and though it was a creative plate, the fritters were a bit dry and lacking. My friends had a toastie and the club sandwich, which were both quite average. But the iced coffee was great and the cakes looked delicious, would love to return and try some!

This is a great location and the place has A very pleasing ambience but you certainly pay for it. The cheapest dish on the menu is an egg and bacon roll for $17 but most things are around $25. Daily papers are available and the coffee is good.

Came in here for breakfast, the place was busy however a pretty small venue therefore should be manageable given the number of staff on shift. Had to wait quite a while for our food, we had finished our coffees by the time it had arrived. When the food did eventually arrive the bacon on both the fry up and eggs Benedict was 90% just fat and did not looked cooked properly. The eggs were also undercooked and the scrambled egg really watery. The only positive of this experience was that the front of house staff on shift were however very friendly and apologetic for this… ordered another round of coffee, one being a soya latte as lactose intolerant and coffees were mixed up and was served a regular milk coffee. Overall the food service was pretty poor but staff friendly and apologetic.

Food tasted good, however was way overpriced and the portions were light on. Coffee also expensive. Service good. Overall, disappointing, as I love the unique atmosphere of the place.

I'm sitting in a very loverly Cafe attached to a wonderful art gallery in Denmark which was recommendedto me while in Walpole. It has a nice vibe, nice staff and the ambience is also loverly. I ordered the special of the day which tasted loverly although I didn't enjoy the chilli. What was disappointing was the amount of rocket leaves. For $19 I would have expected more leaves. I was asked if I enjoyed my meal and I told the staff it was very light on the salad leaves, the waitress thanked me for my feedback and said she would pass it on to the chef. When I was leaving I asked to see the manager re my review. So he could hopefully improve the standard. In fairness at that time he did offer me another beverage which I declined. The heading makes it worse and I feel hopeful that the cafe does much better in the future

On our week in Denmark we visited twice. Once for a coffee and cake/slice, and once for breakfast. The choices on the breakfast menu are supplemented by a specials board. My wife went for the big breakfast, which I had to assist in finishing, whilst I went for the Pork & Fennel sausage with a crispy fried egg on sourdough. Both made use of great produce and the sourdough bread used to make the toast was outstanding. As good as the food was, the service was even better. Service was definitely with a smile. Denmark is lucky to have such a good café.

Dog friendly, beautiful breakfast. I had delicious fluffy pancakes, I couldn't eat it all, so I was offered a take away package ( yes please!). Hubby had the Black Sheep breakfast which had a sausage, bacon, eggs, tomato on beautiful toast. Coffee was magnificent! They even catered for my fussy needs which I sincerely appreciate.

This was our first day in Denmark and were just driving around looking for somewhere to park the car. We found space in the Cafe car park which was lucky for us as we had missed breakfast and we saw that it was busy, so it must be good and we were not disappointed the two cooked breakfasts that the wife and i ordered were very tasteful especially the bacon. It set us up for a day of sightseeing.

Firstly, my wife and I ate here twice in two days and it was great. Unfortunately it was tainted on the second visit due to misrepresentation- the menu says the pancakes have maple syrup on them but it didn't taste right so I asked and was informed that it was indeed maple flavoured syrup, the cheap and nasty stand-in. I know that a lot of people don't care but some of us do. Imagine ordering a coffee and getting a decaff; would you be happy? It's quite simple- give people what you say you're going to give them.

We were looking for a place with great coffee and a yummy breakfast and this place didn't let us down. We had read on the reviews that the breakfast tomatoes were a must, so I tried them and they were absolutely delicious and probably the most tasty tomatoes I've ever had with my breakfast. As one other reviewer has mentioned, we also found it odd that they provide small sachets of butter and our scrambled eggs were all over the toast - impossible to then butter! The scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection. The breakfast was large and filled us for the rest of the day. We pulled into get a couple of takeaway coffee's for the road trip back to Perth. It took a very long time for the coffee and yes they were busy. See you next visit to Denmark

We used Trip Advisor’s recommendation for a visit to this fantastic cafe, when passing through Denmark. Disappointed to see the Covid impact of lack of staff. However, the all day brunch menu was superb. Three out of four of our party had the Eggs Hollandaise (homemade sauce) and bacon. I had the most delish Gnocchi, with chorizo, sundried tomato and a beautifully cooked poached egg. A bottle of their sparkling wine topped off a top notch lunch. We will definitely visit again!

We wanted an all day breakfast and it was so good we went back twice. However second time they had changed sausage which was a highlight of the first breakfast - so good that we went to Denmark Butcher and bought more to take home! Buddha Bowl was exceptional. Great milk shakes. Lovely garden setting. Parking outside. No problem with service like other reviews.

We are new visitors to Denmark.and have loved coming to this cafe. We found the staff super friendly and very welcoming even when they were busy. We loved the outside decked area. The coffee was the best we had tried in Denmark and the food we tried was tasty healthy and delicious. Couldn't fault anything .
