I’d read about the Lake House in the tourist brochures, so decided to have lunch here whilst I was visiting the area.
The ‘road’ to get here wasn’t what I expected - unsealed and full of potholes.
The service however was great, along with views...over the lake at lunchtime.
Limited menu range, I had the chicken salad and it was huge! And delicious. Well worth checking out.More

Thank you for visiting us and for your review. Great to hear that you enjoyed. Enjoy your stay.
good service, good wine, but the platters were a complete rip off. It was a busy Sunday, obviously short staffed and short on food stocks. They had obviously nipped down to the local IGA to replenish stock but it was sadly lacking quality. We've been...twice before (we live locally and it was very good), this time with a group of friends, we rang ahead and to make sure they weren't too busy, a response of 'yes we can fit you in , no problem'. So disappointing, i feel conned!More
Lovely place, set in a beautiful location. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Food was limited to platters only, but boy what beautiful platters! Food was fresh and delicious with beautiful wines

Thank you for visiting us Anita and for your review. Truly delighted to hear that you enjoyed everything.
Beautiful location and views. Great range of wines. Incredible produce. You will spend big here lol....lots to taste. Food wise, we shared a platter and soup, everything was so fresh and tasty. The veggie soup was A+. Loved all the relishes. Great service too.
You simply can’t go wrong booking in for a visit here. The platters are generous in portion sizes and the quality of the produce and food was excellent. Accompanied by a stunning lake and garden to sit amongst while you graze. I already can’t wait...to go back.More

Thank you so much for visiting us. I am delighted that you enjoyed everything and hope you can visit again soon.
A great scenic location with lovely share platters. My type of dining for sure but.... to charge $8 more for a bottle or wine in the restaurant when I’m dining at your vineyard and for the waiter to dump it on the table and not...even pour a glass was not what I expected.More
