This is our second visit here. First was to the bar for a lunchtime drink. Had to wait sometime to be served or even acknowledged. Coffee visit on another day finds us wondering why the owner here is as he is. All his customers appear...to be tourists who are willing to toss a few bucks for coffees etc, but his interaction with customers is short and curt, other staff pleasant enough. Will give him this, the coffee was good though slow to come out.More

We were stopping in Carnarvon for a few days and didn’t know where to go out to dinner. Decided to try the Port Hotel based on previous reviews. The four of us picked a different main meal from the specials menu. The food was awesome...and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come here again next time we are in town.More

We were hungry at 5.30pm but was told that the hotels/pubs only served dinner at 6pm. Hence, we dropped in at the fish & chips shop but there was no dining in facilities and we thought we would just walk across the road to the...Port Hotel to check if they had started serving dinner. And our good luck as it was ! Ordered our food from the friendly couple at the bar. Parmi and pint on special at $29 (I think) and we also had the steak. While waiting the boys had a game of darts. Interesting fact : When you visit the Space & Technology Museum and watch their video, Port Hotel is featured as the crew from USA stayed here when monitoring the moon landing back in 1969.More

spent an afternoon at the hotel for coffee and dinner later on. Both most enjoyable, the hotel has a lovely inviting alfresco aspect. Friendly easy going host. Food is prepared by a Chef and is superb in both taste and quantity. The Parma took a...big appetite to conquer.More

We spent a lovely evening having dinner under the verandah of this lovely old hotel. the owners were very welcoming, the beer was cold, and the food great. the best thing about this hotel however was the vibe. Great music (not too loud) and just...all in all a lovely place to hang out and chill. The dogs were very happy hanging out on the verandah also! We will return next time we are in Carnarvon.More

The Port wasn’t recommended to us but having popped our heads in looking for a bottle shop we liked what we saw. Heater on, nice atmosphere. So we went back the following evening and had a great meal - Little Creatures is on tap everywhere...in Carnarvon Yes ! Squid burger pork belly everyone was happy. Yummy deserts. Good service. Thanks Port. You are doing a beautiful job 🙌More
