Fantastic when you step off the boat from an 'off island' excursion. We used this place three times as our digs were way out of town. Each time the service was good, the range of food was excellent and the prices were reasonable. It always seemed to be busy but we were not rushed by the staff.

Nice place - busy which is always a good sign. Decent coffee and selection of snacks and cakes. Breakfast looked good - only wished we discovered it before our last day!!!

In previous visits to the islands we have eaten here and it has always been good and the service friendly, unfortunately this year they are no longer open in the evenings which is a shame as it was a good Bistro as well. The Breakfast we had this year was good and we also visited for tea and cake which... More

We stopped here on three occasions during our recent visit to Hugh Town. We had cream tea with scones, soup, crab salad, baked potato, all good and served quite quickly. Situated beside the post office and bank, it was very convenient for writing our postcards and we used the ATM to get cash.

This is a popular first stop after a chilly and choppy trip on the Scillonian. As a result it was really busy. However, we managed to get a table, the food was hearty, warm and served quickly and it helped us warm up and settle stomachs! Not the most inventive menu but good value

Good hot chocolate and coffee with quick friendly service. Reasonably priced and clean. Popular but quick turnover.

Central location and food fine but very dark and crowded when we we there. The building is old so ceilings are low and this adds to the feeling of crowding.

We had breakfast here one day, full English, the food was good and plentiful. Excellent coffee too. Service good. Nice inside, good place to watch the world go by (small world, of course!)

At here and used takeaway service over the weeks stay. Breakfasts/lunches are fab. Cakes are far toooo nice. Takeaway sandwiches make a nice change from the other stores in St Marys. Coffee is tops ..... and brilliant for filling your flask for the boat trips :-)

I visited on a recent day trip from Penzance and was surprised at the lack of interest that the staff showed towards me as a customer. The only thing that impressed me was the very good pot of tea as the scone was a bit dry.It is a shame as the loos were very clean and pretty and it is an... More
