We booked in for the Tuesday fish and chips with two other couples from the hotel we were staying at on St Martins. The service we received from the staff was excellent and the fish and chips were also very good. The restaurant had a very good selection of bottled drinks and we were not rushed. I opted for an... Whilst my wife and I were on holiday in the Scilly Isles, staying on St Marys island, we booked an evening boat trip/meal to go to the reputedly excellent Adams Fish and Chips. Our fish, chips and peas were good, but not the best and disappointing considering all the hype. We had Fish and Chips that were equal in quality on... More

Visited while on holiday and fancied a change from the hotel food. We had a standard fish & chips and monkfish scampi. Both were excellent, although you do need to pre-order so the fryer knows what to cook! Service was friendly, and there was a surprisingly good drinks selection for a small restaurant. Recommended if you're on St Martin's and... More

If you want to sit inside book a table early. Not the most inspiring selection on offer. Tasty but slightly expensive for what you get

Excellent quality food, really fresh fish in gorgeous batter, organic home grown potatoes for chips. Good value and unique, pleasant venue.

They'd be Adam's, as the fish is locally caught and excellent. Thoroughly recommended. Eat in, or takeaway, - they'll even lend you an insulated backpack! Just be sure to make a booking.

We've just had a wonderful week on St Martin's in the Scilly Isles and booked Adam's Tuesday evening. A cosy wooden building that is hard to find but worth it. Returned on Thurs evening for the lobster tail scampi. What a find. End to a perfect stay.

After a day walking the beautiful island and seal watching, this is the ideal way to round off the day. Adam makes the most gorgeous gluten free batter and chips and for those of us who are true Coeliacs he takes amazing care and cooks things seperately! The fish is freshly caught and tastes amazing and unlike some other places... More

Excellent service, the meal served to the table quickly and hot. Freshly caught fish cooked to perfection with chips made from potatoes dug that morning. The restaurant has a fully stocked bar and there is a selection of home made puddings to round off the meal.
