The food is ok but the service is horrible. The place is open 24 hours. We were in the restaurant sitting down for at least 15 minutes before someone came to the table. We ordered a few things twice and they never came, so we left never going back to this place.

This is a great place to eat traditional Portuguese food in Cuiaba. The restaurant is clean, the staff are helpful and the food is very good with a wide selection to choose from

My goal was another nearby restaurant, but on my arrival was closed, but then a few blocks away I found Choppao. It was full of locals, so I gave it a try. Turned out to be delicious authentic Brazilian food. Excellent quality, at a reasonable price. My waiter was helpful, although he thought I was a little strange, ordering so... More

We enjoyed this restaurant very much - the food, and the staff. Our waiter was so helpful. Also it was open on Sunday and very few restaurants were - we were very grateful

We enjoyed authentic Brazilian food in very good quality for a reasonable price. A very friendly waiter went out of the way to serve us dishes adapted to our individual wishes.

Traditionally one of the oldest in the city, but among the best ones for a very cold beer and the traditional soup("Caldo" /caw*dough/ as the locals calls it.)

I really enjoyed this place. The food was good and authentic, and you could tell people have been coming here for decades. The portions are huge, like enough for 4 people. The waiter was very helpful and took time explaining things. A lot of men seemed to come with friends, have the soup and a beer and maybe a little... More

We went here after a full day with no real meal, having flown for the past 36 hours. Although English was not spoken, we felt comfortable and welcomed. Their signature poached egg, tomato and chicken soup is a great light meal. We just had a taste, but most patrons were eating bowl after bowl of it. Delicious! We also had... More

Great food, English menu available, top staff, cold beer, great atmosphere and brilliant value for money. What more could you ask for!
