We came across this restaurant looking to try Aruban cooking. The location is of interest being a restored and well maintained old native dwelling. We enjoyed the dishes that we ordered. Cost was reasonable. We lucked out in that the 'terrible' piped in music was soon replaced by a live male vocalist with his guitar. We will probably not return... More

My wife and I own at the Marriott Surf Club, have been coming to Aruba every year for over 10 years, and had dinner here 2 years ago for the first time. Service was good and the food was good (we had the house special), but this time, the service was absolutely terrible. We walked in, were the only diners... More

I read others reviews before going to this local restaurant. It's quaint spot and the servers were lovely. The food was abominable. The appetizer bread was a pancake cut in triangles. The iguana soup was filled with bones. The coconut shrimp was soggy, chewy, I'm convinced it was thawed and refrozen then cooked. Three of us tried the chicken/cheese casserole,... More

This restaurant is in an old house and is off the beaten path. The staff is friendly and the food came out quickly. The food was fantastic. On my next trip to Aruba, I might have to eat here twice. The Carni Stoba (Stewed Beef) is amazing. I want more of it right now as I type this. My husband... More

Had dinner at Old Cunucu based on a recommendation from Andrew of ABC Tours. He raved about this place and said that I had to try the iguana soup. I had yet to have an amazing meal on my trip so we decided to check it out, and it was everything I was looking for!! Service was superb. I was... More

I strong recommend this place. Tasty food and amazing service. Prices are very reasonable. I am not an expert but I think it is like real Arubian food taste!

A local taxi driver recommended this place. Really lovely home cooking, great atmosphere. Truly like being an honoured guest at somebody's private home. Love the iguana soup and goat stew. Definitely go back. My colleague had a whole snapper broiled and loved it. Good service, good food, great atmosphere, outside seating.

We went here because the taxi cab driver suggested it. The food was delicious. It is a restaurant where many of the locals go to and a few tourists. I had the chicken casserole and my husband had the coconut shrimp. The shrimp were big. we also enjoyed the Iguana soup. Sounds crazy since you see them running around the... More

Tucked into the neighborhood is this wonderful restaurant. You canno find any more authentic food indicative of Aruba and/or the Caribbean. The menu is very diverse. I had the goat stew, which was creamy and very flavorful. I will go here again the next vacation.
