This used to be the "in" restaraunt. we still like it. Food was good, nice quiet ambiance. We had, keshi yenna, red snapper, and grouper. All of us were happy!

We came here under the recommendation from our cab driver after requesting authentic local cuisine. To eat I opted for the seafood ceviche, salad, and stewed goat. The ceviche was solid and a nice accompaniment to the salad. The goat was just ok and rather one note. They were also out of one of the sides and didn't offer a... More

Restaurant came highly recommended and it lived up to the reputation. Our meal was great. my only slight negative was the kids meals. Could have had a bit more variety for them.

Started the meal with an iguana soup. For the entree, we had goat stew and Keisha Yena casserole. Service was relaxed, don't go in a hurry. Could eat inside or out. Had local entertainer - Frank Sinatra-type. Best find I had on island

EAT LOCAL!! get off the chain of restaurants with the flashing lights. We enjoyed a quiet, well priced Arubian owned restaurant. Calamari appetizer (best I've had...ever!) Hubby had garlic shrimp; I had coconut shrimp. Both delish. Giant shrimp, I might add! Great server, Jasmine. Eat outdoors or indoors. MAKE IT A PLACE TO EAT when in Aruba.

Great casual local dining with excellent seafood. We were longing to try the Arubaanse Frikadelle and we finally did. In addition, we ordered the battered grouper. Each dish is served with rice, veggies and a sweet tempura plantain. The food was hot and made to order. There was an intriguing tomato based sauce served on the side of both dishes... More

The best place we ate at in Aruba. The calamari melts in your mouth, the grouper lunch special was very appetizing. The goat stew was by far the best meal I've had on this 3 country tour- panama, curacao, and Aruba. The prices are very realistic for what we ordered, the service was right out of moms kitchen. If anyone... More

Recommended to try the Old Cunucu House by our host, we arrived without a reservation, but were seated immediately. The restaurant appeared to be short staffed, and our server, who was "just helping out", was unable to attend to us for quite some time. He was, however, helpful in answering our questions before we ordered coconut shrimp with mango curry... More

The restaurant had a really nice local feel to it but like most of our dining experiences in Aruba... the food was average and basic. Sure, it's good and edible but nothing memorable and nothing earth shattering. For the prices they are asking though, I would expect it to be more than just average. The staff were wonderful and the... More
