Our 4th year to the island and we wanted authentic Aruba cuisine. It's located in a neighborhood not far from the high rise hotels and we decided to walk, take a cab. The house is cute and the menu had some interesting items which we all tried. The food was delicious and the service by Ismael, Eric and Jasmin was... More

Throughout all the restaurants we've ate at on our visit, this little restaurant was simply the best. The food was fresh, came out in a timely manner, and the flavors were to die for. We almost wanted to lick our plates clean but we didn't. We ordered the garlic shrimp, fried calamari, red snapper, and the poncho chicken and steak... More

Went here for lunch. We were the only people here. Our cab driver would not recommend any restaurants saying that they were all good. Then we got out of him that this restaurant was his favorite, so we had to try it. It was very good and the service was great.

We went here actually for the Frank Sinatra impersonator and did not check out the menu. As it was, the impersonator was not good and the food was much better! I had the conch stew (first time) and it was awesome. The chicken and steak entrees were enjoyed by the other couples. In a hard to find location but a... More

But the food left a lot to be desired. Old Cunucu House came highly recommended by several locals/Taxi driver's etc. We went there with high expectations and, frankly, they didn't deliver. My girlfriend actually said that someone would have to be "cucu" to eat at Old Cunucu's. I think that the place may need some new motivation in the kitchen.... More

The food was ok, not great. It's pretty hyped up from what we got to eat. It's bare bones which at times is nice but the arubian specials weren't outstanding.

we had the opportunity of visiting the Old Cunucu House last week, A friend recommended us, and they were right. We had a delicious dinner and tried the "real" local cuisine. I had the stewed conch and it was very moist and good taste. others tried the stewed beef and goat and the meat was very soft and good taste.... More

We reserved here because they advertised a Frank Sinatra night. The food was good for the price. The place is very, very rustic and the restrooms are in need of repair. The waitress and waiter were extremely accommodating, however the Sinatra show was a complete dud. There are better places in Aruba to eat.

We dined at the Old Cunucu House 20 years ago on our honeymoon. We had to go back for our 20th anniversary vacation. We took a cab to the restaurant from our high rise hotel to this quaint country house restaurant. It was just as we remembered it. The food was fantastic. Try the Keesha Yena. Delicious! Our server made... More
