Ate here on a Thursday evening. The surroundings are peaceful and clean. Salad bar items were fresh. The blue cheese dressing was thick and rich. Me: lamb chops (3) done to perfection. Tender. Carl: fried chicken (1/2) again, perfectly cooked Bob: fried shrimp(frozen), but he loved each bite Beverly: sea scallops fried. Ate them all. Would definitely go back when... More

This rustic, log cabin style restaurant offers simple, but good food. We had raisin cinnamon French toast with local maple syrup. Yum. Hostess, waitress, owner? Woman was a bit abrupt, but we just ignored it and enjoyed our meal.

The Seneca Lodge Restaurant features nightly specials, a healthy salad bar, and a menu for everyone--including vegetarians and children. The meats are excellent and robust, my friends love the chicken Parmesan, and I also really enjoy the vegetarian pasta dish. Portions are large and they accommodate food allergies and preferences. Even when the restaurant is packed (Sunday brunch here is... More

The history and rustic atmosphere here is great. The staff were all friendly, and the food good to very good. They have things like only raw sugar, soy toast, and steelcut oats to maintain the country feel. No lunch is served. The dinners come with an adequate salad bar. Excellent prime rib is served on Fridays and some other days... More

This restaurant has a reputation as the place that all race teams must eat at when racing at Watkins Glen. We were there on a Thursday night. Place was jammed but seated quite quickly (under 10 mins). Table ordered Fried Calamari - it was tough and cold. I ordered one of the specials - Shrimp with Cheese Tortellini Fra Diavolo... More

Went here after the indycar race in september; place was hoppin and we had a great time. Lots of cool motorsports memorabilia on the walls and fun atmosphere, especially when there are a lot of people in town for a race !

Enjoyed 3 night stay at the Seneca Lodge, and ate breakfast and dinner at the Lodge Restaurant. The menu had plenty of variety and the food was good. The dining hall had an atmosphere similar to that of many Adirondack lodges. The bar area attached to the dining hall is must see and quite unique.

Friendly staff and lots of rustic cabins. I would ask for one of the newer ones. We stayed in #91 and #92 is similar vintage. Both are neat, clean and wood panelled. A lovely getaway to escape urban life. There is no TV or mini fridge so buy some ice if you have beverages which need cooling. There is air... More
