Had high hopes based on other reviews but was disappointed. Food (vermicelli noodle dish)was cold and rather bland. Not a good value, 13.95 for some noodle, lettuce and 7 slivers of pork. Pork was tasty.

I really like this place. If I was local I would be swing by on a more regular basis. I had the duck which was pretty decent and I forgot what the family ate but it was good. It was one of the meat vermicelli dishes. Service was good and if you need tips on how to eat like a... More

This was the absolute worst place ever! I was excited to find a pho place near my hotel and went to place an order to go. I ordered pho, vermicelli and then tried to order vegetarian spring rolls. I also ordered extra bean sprouts and basil and requested a little extra Sriracha. He said they do Not offer vegetarian spring... More

Thanks to Binghamton/Vestal being a college town, there are a number of ethnic dining options, which would otherwise be unusual in the middle of upstate NY. Nhu Y definitely fits the bill as ethnic, being a Vietnamese restaurant. They have pretty good pho and vermicelli noodle dishes. Their spring rolls are also pretty great. Their entire menu has the items... More

My wife and I stopped here for lunch on a trip up to the Finger Lakes. Great food and even better people! Highly recommend this to anyone looking for freshly made Vietnamese food.

My girlfriend and I have been to Nhu Y on two occasions several months apart. The first visit I remember it being good and it was much better than remembered on the second visit. When we go into a Vietnamese restaurant it's because we looking for a good bowl of Phô. The Phô is above average and even though it'... More

The small, relatively clean Vietnamese restaurant reeked of incense when we walked in to an empty restaurant on the day after Thanksgiving. We ordered the equivalent of vegetarian spring rolls which were greasy and 2 bowls of pho. The meatballs were tough and rubbery, but the broth was very tasty. The bowls were very small, only filled 2/3 full and... More

First things first: I wouldn't know a bowl of pho from borscht, BUT, I had a lovely dish of shrimp pho and shared probably the best Vietnamese spring rolls I have ever had anyplace (and that includes some Vietnamese restaurants in Seattle). My big 'beef' with most asian restaurants of any sort is that all soups are just filled with... More

I had a work meeting with some gastronomically adventurous colleagues one evening. All of us have traveled extensively and 2/3 of our crew has eaten its way across Asia. While Man Nam is our favorite local Korean place, we had hoped to find "our" vietnamese place to keep things fresh. For starters, cash only. Seriously? Go to Target and pick... More

Have visited twice in the past month, has been good quality food on each visit. Is cash only, so bring cash, no lunch menu so lunch prices are a little higher than to be expected.
