You won't find a better tasting bread anywhere else like the bread they bake at Columbus Bakery. Half a loaf will be gone before we even get home with it. We always buy extra!

I live 45 minutes south of Syracuse. But whenever I'm in the area I stop and get the "meatballs in a heel". Half a loaf of bread hollowed out and filled with meatballs, marinara, and mozzarella. I don't know how they can sell it for $7. Like leaving with a football under your arm. Did I mention the bread? Best Italian... More

This is hands down the best bread in Syracuse. Our hunger for it got so bad that my wife and I started bringing a knife and a stick of butter with us when we attended mass downtown. On the way home we indulged ourselves in warm bread and good conversation. Nuff said ?

The service was efficient and servers very pleasant. Bread is crusty. Meatballs and sauce are very tasty. Affordable pricing makes this a great option not only for tailgating but for a quick dinner

Recently I revisited the Columbus Bakery on Syracuse's north side. Quality is consistently outstanding and simple. Great Italian bread, loaves or rounds. No artificial ingredients just the real deal. Syracuse is lucky to have this tiny gem. Excellent!

There is no other place in Syracuse for fresh delicious Italian bread. I suggest buying two since the loaf is usually partially eaten on the ride home.

The Columbus bakery is a landmark in Syracuse. They have everything you want, as long as it's Italian bread. Long loves , short loaves, pull-a-part loves, point loaves, round loaves, sandwich loaves. And don't plan on lingering at the counter, or you will cause a long line. I always ask for what's hot, and get a couple of points. Stand back for... More

Don't miss this little "whole in the wall" bakery if you travel to Syracuse. The absolute BEST Italian bread you will ever eat. Many times, it will be still warm when you buy it....

This place is simple but that's what makes it so great. It's an in and out trip for great bread. It's a must eat for anyone in the area.

The tailgate special is great. Huge meatball sub on their great bread. Their bread is one of the best Italian breads you will ever have. Bring a stick of butter with you and enjoy it hot. This is a bakery, bread , rolls and meatballs.
