This was our favorite seafood restaurant on the north fork. Well, we were only in the area for two days, but anyway: This place was terrific. Amazing crusted flounder. Fantastic shrmp and grits. Fabulous steamed lobster (the chef refuses to serve it any other way)....More

We dropped in here on a Wednesday late afternoon and were greeted with smiles and a table looking at the water. The drinks were delightful, service great and the food......out of this world. My swordfish was extraordinary! Everything we ordered was served in a timely...More

Enjoyed the waterside dining at A Lure, and was pleasantly surprised with the well priced mid-week menu. I would return!

We deliberately chose a night without live music but the piped-in music was loud and appealing to a very young crowd. The setting on the water is lovely, though, and the service was excellent. My husband's meal was disappointing: the chips with his beer-battered fish...More

The restaurant has a festive atmosphere, so if you're looking for a quiet dinner where you can hear your table mates speak, look elsewhere. We had mussels for an appetizer, which was the only really good thing we had. It all went downhill from there....More

Yes. They do-it's inside, but during off peak hours I bet you could take your drink outside.

A Lure, located at the landmark Port of Egypt Marina, is the North Fork's newest waterfront seafood restaurant and the newest joint venture by celebrated chef Tom Schaudel and restaurateur Adam Lovett. The duo, known for aMano in Mattituck, Passionfish in Westhampton Beach and Jedediah Hawkins in Jamesport, is joined by chef de cuisine and partner Jeff Uguil who leads in the kitchen. The idea behind A Lure is to create a seafood chowder house, serving impeccably fresh fish and seafood, in a relatively casual and convivial setting for locals, boaters, day-trippers and vacationers on the idyllic North Fork of Long Island wine country.
