Visited on Sept. 16, 2016 and there was a classic car show, and music. Great food, and a wonderful atmosphere made this a great night. The food is inexpensive, yet still quality. But the big thing for Dairyland is their ice cream. Be warned their sizes are HUGE. If you love ice cream than that's perfect. Their baby size is... More

We decided to take Route 20 rather than the thruway and I'm so happy that we did! Found this place thru the WAze app and then looked at reviews. We both had hot dogs and fries although there are so many choices! There are seafood baskets, burgers and wings. Weekends you can get potato or macaroni salad. Then there is... More

A wide-variety of ice cream flavors and treats. I love peanut butter w/ice cream and their peanut butter malt was excellent! Dairyland is the cleanest road-side stop you will ever find. The grounds were more like a picnic area than rest stop; plenty of clean picnic tables in the shade. The bathrooms were spotless!!

Our boys remarked the BEST soft ice cream they've ever had. Friendly, clean and welcoming. Another good reason to avoid the NYS Thruway.

The steak sandwich typical. Comes with cheese, mushrooms, onions on a perfectly toasted bun. Of course, you can delete any of the toppings you don't like. There is about 16 tables for outside eating. We ordered fries, they were cooked to order, very fresh. Not greasy or soggy. :) No room for ice cream, but next time. A little pricey,... More

Traditional soft ice cream like we had as kids! Very good Philly steaks. 1950's style cruise-in on Friday nights.

Sorry to say I was disappointed with this place. The fish was nasty. Hot dog average. I did like the sweet potatoe fries. Prices too high.

Fried food and delicious ice cream at reasonable prices. Great place to bring kids...they can run around the place. I love their chicken wings!

On the way to Cooperstown, NY last weekend, we stopped into Dairyland for quick bite to eat. It was a little busy but no line. We ordered a burger w/ fried onions and a clam boat with an order of fries. Our drinks were soda and a Root Beer float. As we waited for our food, which appeared to be... More

Dairyland is on Rt. 20 just up the hill outside of the center Sharon Springs, NY. I stop here whenever I go to Cooperstown to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Everyone needs a good milkshake, ice cream cone, or root beer float and this is the place to get them. People in Sharon Springs have been doing this for generations... More
