Menu a little limited but quality and quantity of food pretty good. It is a typical diner menu but prices are very reasonable. Atmosphere retro 50's/60's so expect Elvis music or similar. Worth a try for decent food at a decent price.

I find the Scotia Diner to be very consistent with their service and quality of their meals. They are NOT open Saturday or Sunday for dinner. When going there expect a retro atmosphere, friendly service, and very generous portions.

Great place for any time of day. Great diner food. Might want to check if they're open though. Staff are very nice.

Great for the family! Classic diner decor. Food is good but nothing to write home about. Staff was friendly but it took a little longer than necessary to pay the check.

Happened upon it on a day in Scotia and stopped in for lunch. Basic diner food with lots of retro show biz decor items. Atmosphere fun, food basic, not special. Average prices.

BEing early for an appointment we stopped for breakfast. The place is amazing the decor out of the fifties and sixties. The food is what you expect from a diner a good quality at a reasonable price. Service was good and the waitress was efficient as she was alone for a pretty sizable room. It's a place with regulars but... More

I never tried this place until they moved to their new location. Bottom line is the food is very good and inexpensive. The servers are very friendly. The service can be slow at times but I've always had a great breakfast.

The funky 1950's decor gave us high hopes when we entered. We wanted to like this place. The food, however, was mediocre and the service abysmal. My husband's omelette was burnt and I couldn't figure out what substance was spread on my toast- it wasn't butter or margarine- odd color and awful taste; inedible. My oatmeal was good. The bad... I don't get the negative reviews. We found the Scotia Diner to be exactly what it's meant to be. A quirky, no frills tiny village local spot with some charm and some pretty good food. The staff were all polite, friendly and accommodating. The decor was, shall we say diverse and different. The place was clean. The food was good.... More

The only think that's is constant about this place is that the food is always bad. The place is dirty. It was nice and clean the first week it was open but since then its gone down hill fast. Thank goodness they put doors up where the kitchen is because the language that was flying out of there was to... More
