Stopped here last night after my daughter's softball game. They have a very good friend k menu. The food choices aren't huge but you can get a great burger here. Price is a little on the high side but not too bad. Service was very good. I'd highly recommend this place.

While looking for a place for a quick beer and meal we stumbled upon the Dutch Ale House. I like saying The Dutch Ale House. I was impressed. The beer was good, the food was great and the service was excellent.

I think most locals go to "The Dutch" as it's known for its craft beers and bar drinks. The food is mediocre at best. Good place for a salad or a burger.

The restaurant is on main street with many historic buildings with new businesses. There was a constant flow of locals and visitors for lunch, drinks and fun. I had the Sloop Interstate IPA, which I loved and a salad with seared tuna, which was delicious. There were no flights, but a good selection of beers. We tried the truffle, garlic... More

I stopped here for dinner during a long drive upstate. Had a cheddar burger and the "21st Amendment Blah, Blah, Blah IPA" craft beer. Food was excellent, and the selection of craft beers was impressive. Service was friendly and fast.

This is a casual pub with excellent food. The Veggie Burger is delicious, just the right consistency and has a unique homemade pesto-style sauce. Restaurant has become too pricey in recent years, but the food is still worth it. Wish they had not removed the pool table - it was a fun, if noisy diversion.

Whenever we drive by Saugerties on 87 we stop by the Dutch Alehouse for their parmesan trifle frites. They now added scallions, which I don't care for much, and ask for them on the side in case I do want the added bite from them.

I been going to the "Dutch" for years. It was always a nice, cozy location to meet with friends for drinks and maybe a snack. Over the last few years, a side room was added for better family accommodations, separate from the original bar area. The "Dutch" now offers a rotating selection of its own brewed beers, along with a... More

Good food with some "innovative" dishes. YMMV with the "innovative" stuff. Kind of looks like it should be serving something more like comfort food but this place tries to be more experimental. Onion soup was only fair. Brie burger was just OK. Chips were just OK. Service is not the quickest. Large selection of beer. Friendly.
