One of my sons favorite dinner spots. He especially loves going in the warmer weather so we can sit outside. The menu is awesome, everything we have ordered is delicious.

Enjoyed a nice meal on their patio. Nice special salad (pear / goat cheese) followed by seafood pasta. Service good. Touch on the pricey side though.

We opted for the stylish interior for our early dinner which was partially full of regulars enjoying Forno's early bird specials. Their large al fresco seating continued to fill during our meal. A very serviceable wine list was presented by Justinn who was attentive to...More

Tasty food, nice variety of menu items. Place was very busy on a Monday night, but perhaps due to the large conference taking place across the street at the Hilton. AT some point around 8pm (on a Monday night in May), the place was noisy...More

If you like a good thin crust pizza, this is a place to get one. My choice was Pera (white pizza with pears, gorgonzola and brie cheese, arugula). In general, I feel like the Forno's menu is a bit small, but after adding a few...More

Everything here was 5 stars, from the ambience and seating, to the server, to the wine and food. Best Caesar salad I have ever had. Gluten-free pasta is a welcome option. My two small plates (meatballs, and eggplant dishes)and my salad made a fantastic meal....More

I visited to Sunday night. The restaurant locates in front of Hilton, just cross the road. My choice was grilled Octopas with white wine as Apetizer and stewed Pork with red wine for main. I really surprised and very much ebjoyed the Octopas. It's very...More

Using a gift card, thought we'd try here again. Should have given it away ourselves. Seated on the tented patio near the outside wall with a cold breeze at our feet. Busy server. Delay in getting orders after bread and water served. Unflavored olive oil...More

Forno had been a long time Saratoga favorite for quality pizza and Italian specialties. Recently renovated into almost "steampunk" style with lots of dark wood and steel it would seem that they have lost kitchen and front of house staff in the process. Service was...More

Description
Anchoring Saratoga's vibrant downtown Forno Bistro is a family-owned bistro that offers a variety of rustic, Tuscan-style food rooted in tradition. Our chef's use only the freshest seasonal ingredients to prepare dishes with respect to their flavors, appearance and aroma. The menu is sophisticated but approachable, expressing the sense of hearth and home that defines the Tuscan style of life. Forno Bistro's rustic, Tuscan-style food is hearty and unpretentious with sophisticated flavors rooted in tradition and always open to new interpretations and adaptations. Many of our dishes are greatly influenced by the use of the wood-fired oven: homemade pizzas, sauteed calamari, and wood-fired towers of vegetables. The oven is always the inspiration.
