I think I've finally had it with The Parting Glass. Food has been lousy last few times we went there...and we took friends along...BIG mistake. Now St. Paddy's Day was a big yawn. The Harp tasted like Bud Light. YUKKK! I agree with another reviewer who suggested that The Parting Glass was riding on a previous reputation.

the Parting Glass is a popular Irish themed bar and restaurant in Saratoga Springs, NY. It hosts a lot of music and other activities/events. There are numerous dart boards and a great shuffle board table. the food is good, generous and not overly priced. It gets crowded, so be prepared!

One of the oldest continually operating pubs in the country. Was there on a snowy night waiting for family to arrive from delays at the airport. Bill was kind enough to stay open after he had called last call so my son could have a beer with us after he got in late. A class act by a very nice... More

Good place to visit for beer and music. Food, not so much. Wait staff is mediocre. Food usually takes a while, as do visits from wait staff for drink refills. Food is okay pub fare. Been there many times. Last time we visited they had an event out back. Those of us out front ordering food paid the price -... More

The beer on tap was fresh and the service very friendly. If you get beyond the shepherd's pie or the open face roast beef sandwich you've gone to far on the menu. The value for dollar was excellent!

I've come twice while visiting family. Both times service was very very slow. The second time they gave us a discount because we waited so long for food. Definitely understaffed. The bar food is good. I think if service was better, they could have more customers and more staff = more food output and faster service.

The Glass has been around forever sometimes it seems like Saratoga was built around it. It's a good Pub and the food is sort of decent. But honestly the place a few years ago was awesome and just not so much now which is a shame. It's sad to see a landmark go down hill :(

Perhaps not as truly Irish as some of the Irish pubs in Boston, but still good pub fare and burgers. Friendly, but over-worked waitresses. Kitchen staff also over-worked with full crowd on a Saturday night; ordered our food about 8 pm and not served until 9:15. Food good. Wife enjoyed her Bangers & Mash ($9.99) and I enjoyed my O'Reilly... More

This is a great pub in Saratoga. We were there on a Wednesday evening about 7 pm. The bar area was full but tables were available. We sat down and our server was right there to tell us about the beer/wine menu and gave us the perfect amount of time to decide on drink selection. The beer was cold and... More
