The Roscoe diner used to be a popular pit stop for travelers on Route 17. The food and ambience were reliably average but that was acceptable for tired road warriors with few options. Route 17 is now I-86; Roscoe calls itself "Trout Town USA" and...More
We enjoy stopping for lunch at the Roscoe Diner on our way to and from the Hudson Valley, and this trip was no exception. In both directions we managed to get there ahead of the noon rich, which was nice. We had BLTs and milkshakes...More
When I told my friends we were going to go to Roscoe to visit, everyone knew about the Roscoe diner. Folks this is an old school diner. Fast service with good food. Very good place to stop to eat.

The last frontier on your way up to oneonta or Cooperstown, good comfort food, dependable service reasonable prices
Stopped for lunch on a dreary day. Things started out pretty average, but the food and service ended up being very good. Even a vegetarian was nicely accommodated and the pickles were amazingly delicious!
