This was our second time eating here (first time was take out). The food is definitely unique, especially since it's one of the few Polish restaurants in Rochester. Large portions will fill you up and warm your soul on a cold, winter day. Potato pancakes were tasty, but most enjoyable when eating them at the restaurant (they got a little... More

Stopped right before Christmas, so of course it was busy with people buying for the Holidays. Food is good, look around a little before you buy. I took take out pierogi, the frozen variety, as well as some baked goods for munchies and breakfast. $9 a dozen for frozen pierogi are a tad much...even though they are good. Honestly, everything... We heard about this restaurant through a couple of friends and decided to stop for lunch. We were not disappointed with anything, the service good, the surroundings, quaint, but nicely appointed and the food was out this world good! Normally I get real polish food only once year at the St Stanislaus Polish festival in August, however, I have discovered... More

We love this place. With a maiden name like Partyka, I should know more about Polish cooking than I do. But that's OK as long as the Polska Chata is here. Whether I drop by for lunch, or we go for a weekend dinner, the upstairs dining room always satisfies. And afterwards, a tour of the jam-packed (literally, they have... More

When you first walk in the delicious smells greet your nose. Everything displayed in the cases, looks so fresh. It's a bit of a climb to get to the upstairs dining room..... but so worth the trip! Deciding what to get is difficult. Everything sounds (and is) so good, I enjoyed the borsht, potato pancakes and hunter's stew. You would... More

Great little place! First floor is deli and store. Second floor is the restaurant. Great hot delicious polish food. You can't find anything like this in Rochester. And, it's all home made! Service is good, prices a little high but you get what you pay for! Quaint little place, but than can handle larger groups.

Family run deli with authentic polish food for Friday dinners. Friendly, good service, great food. Also serve some imported Polish beers as well. I luv this place. Just a note, this deli is in an old city house that has been converted. The dining area is up narrow steep steps for those that may be physically limited.

We always do take out. The food is delicious and the staff helpful and friendly. The only problem with the restaurant is the stairs. They are hard for the handicapped.

I ordered Potatoe Pancakes, they were served to me burned on the bottom side. The service was very bad, the waitress didn't know what she was suppose to do and when I tried to get her attention she ignored me. I told her my food was Black/burned on the bottom side so I wouldn't notice it... Yeah, right...It tasted terrible... More
