We try to go here every year and it never disappoints. We were able to snag a table outside, very prompt service and all 4 of us liked our meals.

Great food every time, especially when with our large family. The service always rocks and for me, they know how to cook the eggs every way I like them (which is every way).
Went for lunch. It was crowded. From the seating to the end of the meal, the service was flawless and cheerful. I have never seen a service staff that was so upbeat and positive. They seemed to be enjoying being there and interacting with the...customers. Even with all the cheer, they were fast and attentive (what you want for lunch in a crowded place). Oh yeah, and the food was great--and prices reasonable. Will definitely return. Whoever is managing this place deserves a round of applause.More
We went for Brunch at Jines, and it was charming. I had the delicious Eggs Michelle, coffee, and an apple cider mimosa. Everything was delicious. We were seated in a window booth, and just enjoyed the fall colors and the scenery on Park Avenue so...much. Upon leaving, I was met and thanked by the owner, who is the second-generation owner to his father, who started the place 50 years ago. These are the types of places I comb the city for! Wonderful.More
Jines is an excellent restaurant, with amazing food, coffee, and atmosphere.. My son James and I enjoyed a leisurely breakfast there. My son ordered Eggs Benedict, and I the Poutine...sooo good. The coffee was delicious 😋 We will most definitely be back to dine in...and take out...Thankyou Jines staff, cooks, and wait ppl..well done!More
Super friendly. Bring your dog and eat outside on the sidewalk. They brought a bowel of water for our pup. Interesting options including granola dipped French toast. Hollandaise sauce for the bene seemed broken, though. Can't wait to go back for lunch!
So pleased with our breakfast for our party of 6! Great food - tons of options, and our service was fast and friendly (thanks, Alexis!)! Prices were very reasonable... like $10 for a 4-egg omelette?? Side note: One of the members of our party was...in a wheelchair, which was accommodated pretty well (side entrance kind of through the kitchen, patio umbrellas needed to be shifted momentarily to make way, plenty of room inside to navigate). There did not seem to be convenient handicapped parking, or should I say, it seems that handicapped parking is now dedicated to street dining. We were able to get parking not too far away and navigate over.More
We ordered through Grubhub and got sandwiches with gluten free bread. The bread wasn't great... a bit dry. The sandwich filling was good though. The fries were AMAZING so almost worth the crazy high price.
Went there on a Tuesday mid-am and it was packed! Lots of young people-mostly college kids were at the restaurant that morning. My son ordered a Club Sandwich and Fries, which gave him enough for a second meal. I had an ham/cheese/mushroom omelette, which was...very tasty. We sat outside on a sunny day, which was nice. BEWARE OF THE BEES though. There’s were several and they were aggressively diving at us and the food. We ended our breakfast early to avoid getting stung.More
Having lived in Rochester for a couple years I know Jines is one of the more popular brunch/lunch places on Park Ave. I have never had a really terrific experience there and would argue Frog Pong is slightly better. That said, today I had some...people in town and placed a take out order that was disappointing. Attached I included a picture of the avocado toast (not included is the two other pieces of toast with nothing else missing). The eggs were small, bland, and uninspired. I understand with COVID and still being a crowded restaurant things are tough and everyone deserves a bad day but after this experience I would recommend against take out. My other experiences here have generally been a 3/5 and I would rate this place as average.More
My friend and I went to breakfast at Jines on a Saturday morning. Not a single person was sitting in the dining room, but our waitress was adamant about getting us in and out the door as fast as she could. My friend and I...were catching up and within the first 5mins of us sitting down she came over to the table at least 4xs to see if we were ready to order. I told her when my menu is shut I will be ready to order. She then had the audacity to say that she and all the other waitress were trying to make some money and they can’t do that if they don’t flip over their tables fast. Mind you we were still the only two people in the restaurant. So we ordered, got our food... paid $9.99 for a bagel with an egg on it which was hard and gross. Neglected us the entire time we were eating even though we needed a few things like a straw and napkins. Finally before we even finished eating she slapped the checks on the table and waited for us to get our cards out so she could take them up to the host stand and bring them back. I guess you have to eat and leave immediately at Jines. Terrible service, and overpriced food!More
Stopped here twice last week for, lunch and was very pleased. I ordered the spinach salad one day for lunch and it was fresh and very good. The next time I ordered an omelet and home fries. Everything was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. All...of the portion sizes are very large and prices are very reasonable. Will be eating here again real soon.More
We have heard high reviews about this restaurant and finally had the opportunity to get to that side of time only to be disappointed. My Spanakopita had no taste and from the other reviews I saw others received pita bread. I did not . I...have been to many Greek restaurant and only order this dish. My husband sandwich was very greasy I think it was a rueben. It was over a month ago and we both forgot. He didnt want to remember. In fact I strained to remember what I had It was a day we both wanted to forget. It was in the afternoon so it wasn’t busy. Will never go back. The bill was costly. I hate to give bad reviews but perhaps by giving it the owners will improveMore

Great service. Great food. Local for the locals. Excellent neighborhood with plenty of shops and other restaurants. One of the best in town.
I hadn't been to Jine's in a while, and I knew it was a good place but the meal was even better than I expected. We both ordered a daily special, the yardhouse steak with mushrooms and marsala sauce with melted crumbled blue cheese. It...came with twice baked potato and a choice of another side dish. It was not only a large and delicious steak but it was cooked exactly as I requested (extremely rare) which I seldom get the way I want at many restaurants. The desserts were delicious too, and the waiter was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend it.More
