I like this place, particularly for lunch. It's elegant, welcoming, and great lunches. I adore the mussels, the oysters, the beet salad. I try not to go on the weekends, because the noise level is astonishing, like a wave of noise you must dive under.

Decor and atmosphere are wonderful. Food was all prepared and served deliciously. Bridget was a terrific waitress.

If I had been led in blindfolded I would have guessed I was somewhere in France or at least in a major US city. Really attractive, authentic decor beautifully executed. Excellent menu and just as excellent a wine list and BTG selection almost exclusively French. I had the prix fixe business lunch for 22.00. I chose onion soup, moules et... More

The Brasserie has friendly staff, a nice boutique feel with good food. I'm so happy to see that restaurateurs are renovating these old beautiful buildings into elegant restaurants.

Went here for a business lunch. We were a party of 10. Seated right away and didn't have to wait long for out meal. Staff was very attentive and friendly.

We had a delicious dinner in this beautiful restaurant, but it grieves me to say that the experience was marred by the amateurish service we received. The poor waiter had not the dimmest knowledge of French terms, and his pronunciations of "Badoit" and "Cote de Boeuf" were at first unintelligible. There were long waits for every course (including cocktails), and... More

The duck confit is the way to go. It is very good. You cannot go wrong here. Very good wines and crisp service. It is quite a surprise given the area.

We almost didn't go in because of the borderline crappy area the restaurant sits in - but I'm glad we kept our reservation! Excellent oysters (though some of the gnarly bits were still in some of them), enjoyed some Hudson Valley duck, some delicious 20-year-old tawny port, and the most amazing cheesecake.

I have been to the restaurant twice. The first time, a few years ago, it was pretty good. We had a small group of 3 and it was a decent meal with decent service. The second time we went it was pretty bad. We had a large group of 8 and the service was horrible. The entrees were brought out... More
