Amazing quiet place away from the droves of tourists mostly because few want to make the 300 step climb down to get here. Awesome service, great tasty fresh seafood, and of course amazing views. Well worth the steps!

It is indeed a great restaurant they offer good food and staff is so friendly... but it is also a tourist trap if you let them choose on your behalf. First of all, if you don’t go on boat, you will need to walk down...to the harbour and the path is not always in good conditions (25-30 mins approx). We do not recommend to order “Fish of the day”, it will cost a lot and fish is kept in a box receiving sunlight the whole day… may not be good for healthMore

We traveled to 4 islands in 3 weeks and had fabulous food but Armeni was outstandingly the best dinner of our vacation. The waterfront setting and privacy made the whole experience special. It was extremely windy and rough waters the evening we went that the...restaurant called to offer to reschedule but we were on a tight schedule and I had made reservations months prior, so we rode the small boat that the restaurant provided. Expert driver hugged the shore and we didn’t even get wet from the waves. We picked a fresh black grouper which the chef recommended to have grilled. It was perfect. Delicious scallops, gorgeous presentation. Every dish was outstanding, Complimentary rose flower sorbet. The service was prompt. Probably because only one other table was occupied as everyone else had canceled due to the weather. Highly recommend eating here.More

Our favorite meal on the island! Took a small water taxi for five minute ride, supplied by the restaurant, with a magnificent views. The guys that work here are so passionate about fish and making everyone feel welcome. The. Fish is beyond fresh, cooked to...perfection. You are shown whole fish and select the one(s) you’d like. The appetizers were also great. Octopus, smoked mackerel, fried cheese, Greek salad. We had a Santorini white wine that was excellent. Dessert was also exceptional. Highly recommend. Will definitely come back next time we visit.More

Our experience at Armeni could only be described from perfection from start to finish. The service was the best we encountered in Santorini, we just loved the men working there. Armeni offered a tranquility and authenticity that can be hard to find in the busier...parts of the island . You can only access via a boat which they arrange for you or a hike (we did this on way back) which only added to the experience. In the beginning the gentlemen showed us all the fresh fish to choose from, we chose a sea bream which would be grilled for our main. For starters I had the calamari which was honestly the best I have ever had, the batter was so incredibly light. Lewis had the scallops which was served so generously and beautifully. Our grilled fish was just gorgeous- this whole experience was a very solid 11/10.More

This Taverna is charming and so romantic, and the food is so fantastic! Easily the best fish I have EVER had. They have limited hours and only a few tables, and dinner is only available by reservation. I didn’t think it was terribly expensive, not...for how amazing everything was. The logistics to get to the restaurant seemed a little overwhelming, but all the directions were perfect, and arriving by boat made perfect sense once you were there. I highly recommend making a reservation in advance if you are going to Santorini. You won’t be disappointed!More

Brilliant experience from the very moment you get picked up by boat on the other side of the bay. You get dropped off at the restaurant to be welcomed by the friendliest waiters/chefs/staff you could meet. Great setting on the shore with views of the...bay and you get a glimpse of the sun setting. You get to choose your fresh fish and then it's taken away to be cooked as you like it and deboned at the table. Very simple meals but typical Greek and well worth it. Don't expect anything other than fish. Went here on our last night on Santorini and it was a perfect end to a lovely 40th anniversary trip.More

An absolutely magical meal here. The warmest welcome, the freshest, most delicious fish for dinner, the speedboat ride there from the harbour is an absolute must. It felt like an adventure, a thoroughly brilliant adventure with the most magnificent food. The best meal and best...night out we had in Santorini. If you get a chance, go!More

I mean, WOW. My wife and I were a bit turned off with the thought of going into Oia with the constant commotion around tourist traps, overwhelming movement, obnoxious travelers, etc. so we were hesitant on dining here. Thankful we did after experiencing both Amoudi...Bay + Artemi! At first, you’re picked up from the dock on the bay and taken on a quick 10 minute boat ride around the bay’s point while getting a quick tour experience of the surroundings. Once you get to the location, you’re quick to appreciate the little oasis of the locale - something that’s highly secluded by the cliffs - you’re own little fisherman village escape! Normally, when the experience is so highly served, it’s difficult to have the meal match but boy was I was wrong. I had one of the best seafood of my life with some spectacular service. Do not leave Santorini without coming here and make sure to set a reservation right on OpenTable.More

This restaurant was honestly the best we visited in Oia. The welcome we received and the communication whilst booking was fabulous. We were a party of 8, and they were a little reluctant to do a party of this size- but pulled it off perfectly....We decided to walk down to the restaurant (despite lots of bass reviews), but it’s a lovely walk. It is 290 steps and slippery in places- but the view is stunning. The restaurant do offer a boat shuttle service from Ammoudi Bay as an alternative (which we took advantage on the way home.) Being a larger party, we tend to order too much food, but all the waiters clearly advised how much to get and it was just right and saved wastage. They brought around the fresh catches of the day and explained each fish. We had the scallops, prawns, salads and fresh pittas with tzatziki and taramasalata to start, which were all amazing! The crab pasta, seabass and sea bream with chips and salad for main. All accompanied by lovely crisp white white. Highly recommend… and advise to book in advance as was nearly full, as it’s a small cosy restaurant. The staff were A***…. Thank you for everything. We will be back!More

Dinner at this place was definitely one of the highlights of our Santorini trip. The boat transport was easy to find and prompt (not fun walking down all the stairs but we definitely felt accomplished when we looked back up and saw how far we...had walked)! The staff was immediately welcoming and hilarious, showing us the fresh fish, then posing for pictures. The meal was incredible - we have never had such fresh fish and the seating is only a few feet away from the water, so a beautiful view. Our family celebrated my husband's 70th birthday here and the staff "made a party," coming out with Happy birthday glasses and tiaras, singing, with a delicious cake. Lots of laughs, great videos and pictures and delicious! One of our favorite vacation memories.More

We had lunch here booked via our hotel. We used the speed boat to get from Ammoudi Bay. The Good. 1. The journey was a huge part of the experience. We were picked up at the beautiful harbour at Ammoudi by speed boat. This took...us to the restaurant, and there were amazing caldera views on the way. 2. The location was superb. Right on the stony beach with spectacular views. I loved the turquoise and white colour scheme 3. The service was so friendly and helpful. They were also efficient and brought us free desserts. 4. They had fresh fish to choose from. We had the sole. It was superb. We also had a Greek salad and tasty scallops in garlic as appetizers. The wine was ok. 5. The restaurant was pretty good value. The Bad 1. I think you need to have a reservation and I definitely advise the speed boat transfer. Overall. A really great Santorini experience and highly recommended!More

This location is very special-it feels like it is out of a movie! Go there! The boat ride is beautiful! The gentleman in the photo owned/worked at the restaurant. It turned out he was our savior that evening. After our dinner we left via boat...and waited an eternity for our taxi. He saw us waiting and called his friend to pick us up! Very sweet, kind human being! Thank you so muchMore

Not hard at all. Ask your hotel or contact the restaurant and arrange for a water taxi. You can also call yourself if in a private residence.
