Went here with some friends for the famous taco Tuesday. I got the shrimp tacos and it was 5 tacos for $8, what a great deal! We also ordered some guacamole which was yummy as well. The service was a little slow...but the food was great! Will definitely be going back.

Good music and food. Away from the waterfront but not too far., Eclectic. Different. The people are as interesting as the place - mixture of local characters and "mainstream" folks.

Great eclectic bar with awesome food and good beer choices. The owners and staff are friendly and accommodating. The menu is extensive. Can't wait to return and try more items.

When in Hudson Valley, I get to the Wherehouse. It's a real deal, neighborhood bar with a good and lively mix of regulars, visitors, working- and leisure-type folks, and they have a music series thing going, tho not when i visited. Whenever I go, I find people at the bar conversational, engaged and welcoming. On this night, both bartenders were... More

Worth going a little further from I-84 for a large selection of unusual (and the usual) burgers, chili, salads - with vegan options. Many good small brewers' beers (and a hard cider) on tap. Last night there was also a FANTASTIC jazz trio! I live 2 hours away and was trying to beat the snow or I would have stayed... More

Fun eclectic place to hang with solid food and great beer choices. Ok, bartenders are good conversationalists if you think High Fidelity and Chasing Amy type of guys.

The Wherehouse is our family's favorite local hangout, for beer (17 taps!), burgers and wings. The prices are fair, the ambience is hippie/Village, and it's a fun place to hang.

I am a fan of the authentic dive bar, one short on pretension and long on comfort. The Wherehouse is such a place; perfect for hanging out in an evening with friends. The food is amazingly good for such a setting, and the beer selection is first rate. The bartender is perfect for the place, relaxed and professional, with just... More

Sat down tried to order 2 different drinks, out of half the standard liquors, son wanted rootbeer..NOPE. Daughter tried to order black bean burger..NOPE. Guy had to come back twice to get our order straight. No music, only tv playing a game & a bunch of loud roudy drunk guys at the bar.

Three of us went there for dinner. We all shared our meals and all 3 were exceptional. The wait staff were pleasent and attentive. The dress is causal. And cozy was a better word to choose than small.
