I used to eat here quite a bit years ago, and I couldn't wait to have breakfast here again. I was so disappointed, I had the number 7 which they shouldn't call steak and eggs with hashbrowns; rank smelling shoe leather and slime, with a side of sawdust would be more accurate. The waitress was nice enough, but service was... More

Good solid American breakfast. Reasonably priced. Eggs, pancakes, made to order. Ambiance was good. The service was excellent. Definitely a norstalgic place to visit.

I stopped here one afternoon for lunch after a visit to Winthrop hospital. The cream of tomato soup was great . I had a turkey and cheese wrap that was good and fulfilling. It's an old train car type diner. I personally love places like this . Small , homey, and friendly service. Prices are very reasonable, however parking kinda... More

You have to blink twice when first seeing this little red diner on a busy corner. When entering it seems you're back in the 50's . The breakfast was the best at the right price. The manager was pleasant and the waitress was efficient.

While driving to Mineola and Williston Park my daughter and I decided to stop at the Mineola diner since it was a place my parents had eaten at in the 1950s. The Mineola Diner was like taking a step back into time; original seating and decor- even an old juke box! Food was "good". OJ tasted like a sugary drink.... More

I was taken to the Mineola Diner during a recent trip to NY State from England. I had never been in a diner and wanted to experience as slice of American life first hand. Brunch in a diner was one of my requests. My hosts loved the chance to share this place with me – and I loved it! The... More

We stopped for lunch at the Mineola Diner. The place is so cool. Old time retro diner with great food. Excellent burgers. Perfect fries (crisp and light) excellent coffee. The waitress was so sweet. Love the old time counter and booths. They don't make me like this anymore!

A local, friendly, best in diner place; service is great and I particularly love June. Their home-made Corned Beef, and Romanian Tenderloin, breakfasts are my favorites. I estimate I have dined here one-hundred times over the years.

Driving through Long Island I decided to look up Best 10 LI Diners on the internet. This place came up, I saw "in business since 1948" and that was an incentive. It really looks the part - time capsule all the way. However, your expectations should be in line with the town you are driving through!! Just a reminder. Food:... More
