Went for a nice quiet lunch with my wife and was pleasantly surprised. This is not a run of the mill French restaurant. The escargot was prepared to perfection, (get extra bread to fully enjoy the juices). We both had the lamb burgers - (medium rare, stay away from the well done rumors). They are prepared with goat cheese and... More

Authentic casual French food. I have been going since they opened and have never had a bad dish there. Wines by the glass are surprisingly good. Comfortable, exceptional service, excellent food.

Enjoyed the meal in this small French restaurant off Main Street in Millbrook. The escargot was divine, the endive with blue cheese was delicious and the sole was perfectly prepared. My husband's steak was over cooked and he was slightly less impressed. The service was a bit reserved and the ambiance plain. Definitely worth the experience if you enjoy French... More

Enjoyable meals: croque madame and smoked salmon with toast points. Decor is a little dated but didn't let it bother us much.

Stopped here for lunch on our annual Xmas tree excursion as our usual destination the Millbrook Café is closed on Sundays (and Mondays). But we had no regrets because the food was excellent even though the décor looks a bit worn (chipped table top veneer). For us food always trumps ambiance. My wife and I dined on Salmon and Trout... For lunch my wife had mushroom soup, I had split pea and we both had Oeuf-dur Mayonaise (light salad with 2 split hard boiled eggs with tasty topping). large bowls of excellent soups plus glasses of wine on special.... service friendly & efficient. Small restaurant,Tables close together make for cozy intimate feel. Chef owner & wife maitre de means that this is not an arm's length business but caring oversight.

Came in on the MTA north day trip - Best. Trout. Ever. Fantastic bistro food, cheap martinis, killer fries and friendly hosts - hard to beat! Definitely make it a stop if you ever find yourself in Millbrook
