I've lunched here on several occasions and never been disappointed, the food is always fresh and the service prompt with attention to detail. The waitresses are always so nice and friendly. I was at the restaurant a couple of weeks ago with my niece who lives in Canada and we both had pasta, I had a bolognese sauce and she had spaghetti with zucchini and smoked marlin - both were delicious and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant even though it is far away.

We tried almost all the restaurants in Mahébourg during our stay and the Beau Vallon garden is clearly the best.
The dishes are exquisite, the cocktails are killer.
The prices offered are really in line with the quality of the dishes and the service offered.

We had an absolutely stunning meal cooked to perfection. We all had steak cooked exactly to our request, the peppercorn sauce was delicious. This was followed by a crème brûlée, I have eaten a few of these over the years but this was the best ever. The lady who served us was so lovely. This was the last meal of our cruise and stay holiday. IT WAS THE BEST.
If you are in the area I would highly recommend you pay this little gem a visit you won’t be disappointed 😊😊😊

Extremely slow service. We got only the starters and no main dish.. even though it was ordered since 1.5hrs - they forgot to prepare the main dishes. No waiters were around for service. It was only when I, myself went inside the service area to enquire about our order that we were told they did not prepare our dishes. Not even a sorry from the manager or the owner, on the contrary it was almost as if we were bothering them. Would not recommend at all!!

Le Jardin de Beau Vallon
We had a perfect Sunday afternoon luncheon. In view of the comments on TA / Google we made a prior reservation and that worked out fine. We had a nice table outside on the balcony and that was a great setting. We took a marlin tartare (very well done) and a grilled fish / 7 curries and that did not disappoint. Service was fine, good collection of wines.

We were brought here by our guide & driver Yash. What a pleasant lunch we had. Close to the international airport , our last meal we wanted local food. The lady who served us was charming. The local shrimp & chicken curry was delicious-2 could have eaten. The king prawns were a generous helping.the atmosphere was colonial. A quaint eatery. Old world charm. Excellent service.Meal cost for 3 was 2,600/-

Lovely quiet setting in a colonial style house.
Great menu / prices very reasonable.
Grilled fish with lemon sauce was beautiful as was the thali of 7 different curries.
Crème Brûlée a lovely finish to a great meal - definitely worth a visit!

Placed within a hotel resort and sited within a garden, this is a great place to eat.
We sat on a veranda overlooking the garden.
My venison streak was matched with a piquant green pepper sauce, and was cooked to perfection.
My wife had the grilled fish with salad and fries.
The staff were friendly and attentive, and the coffee was good.
And what a view;

You arrive at this restaurant via a large park, a magnificent colonial-style building, a friendly welcome, a beautiful terrace. A tempting menu with varied menus. For all tastes. An ideal place to share a meal as a couple or, like us, with friends. We had a very pleasant evening, ate really well, as did our friends. An address to recommend!

We booked Le Jardin de Beau Vallon for the last night before our departure because it is only a good five minutes by car from the airport. It is certainly very simple accommodation, but absolutely fine for one night. The restaurant attached to it is outstanding, however.

This restaurant, in a colonial-style house, is a gem. Nestled in a green setting, you will have the impression that time passes slowly and peacefully. The staff is absolutely friendly. The prices are reasonable and the food very good.

In a colonial house, a cozy atmosphere and attentive staff. Delicious fresh juices and local dishes. Very good curries. We returned for lunch the next day to enjoy the restaurant that day. We were equally charmed.

We stayed briefly at this place while in Mauritius and found it an amazing place. The food is awesome, the service is excellent and the rooms are super comfy. The rooms are all independent houses with a patio with a stone walkway in front. There is a nice garden adjacent to the rooms. We spotted a few rare green geckos in the garden. Awesome place. Highly recommended.

Excellent cuisine, an attentive, smiling team.
