Unfortunately, the Lazy Beagle and several other shops burned and are completely gone. Our little community is left with a huge hole in our hearts and our Main Street. A historic building can not be replace.
we all miss this this fun place. Can;t tell you more since it's not there. Please let everyone know about the fire so they don't go out of their way to get there.
But I have to share with you all, that the Lazy Beagle burned down a few months ago. Although they plan to rebuild, (at least that's the buzz in Livingston Manor), for now you can only dream about they're Macaroni and Cheese Entree's. Good Luck...More

Great garlic encrusted strip steak, good beer selection, good service.
Liked the location---15 min. from my home. Food has been quite good but it's quite noisy and sometimes confusing(the help, that is). If they are busy, you'll have a pretty long wait.
The Lazy Beagle is a welcoming local gathering place with warmth. The food is a clear step up from many other choices in the vicinity. The pub fare can be relied on to be plenty and tasty. Sometimes the more ambitious efforts/specials can fall short....More
