We've eaten here a few times when in town. The service is always spot on. They have a great, and extensive, cocktail and drink menu so if you're looking for a little alcoholic refreshment you're going to find something to fit your tastes. The food menu is not for the faint of heart and I would not bring my kids... More

I heard that their poutine is the best in LP, actually I think that Generations serves better one. We ate there on a nice Saturday night in May when Lake Placid is not too busy. When we arrived a server told us that we had to wait for our table, but we could have a seat at the bar. We... More

Great restaurant for adventurous diners looking to try new things. Grilled goat and soft shelled crab entrees were fabulous. Amazing flavor. Large selection of beers and unique mixed drink menu.

Great plate of local cheese and sausage. The beer battered asparagus were also tasty. All we're perfect for a light dinner.

Our server Julia was very helpful in assuring me a gluten free experience, even going so far as to recognize something on my plate that may have been cross contaminated and returning it before I ate it. Food delicious, cider tasty and my husband's poutine looked and smelled amazing! Atmosphere eh..will def go back when in LP

Drink and good selection was great, and enjoyed the different selections available. However the atmosphere was very cold and uncomfortable, which forced us to leave. We have talked about going here for some time and it was disappointing not to enjoy ourselves, but we will be back to try again.

While I cannot disagree with anything ADavisS said in her/His(?) review, we had a wonderful waitress who took the time to explain everything to us and we had a simply wonderful meal. My husband had the charcuterie plate with local cheese and different chutneys, etc. and it was to die for. I had their cauliflower dish as a starter and... More

Menu has some basic items but descriptions of food misleading - had to ask people who had been there before what different things were - and yes, it was written in English. Food itself was fine but limited choices. All around it was odd though some locals seem to love it.

Excellent meal and cocktails. If you're looking for quality ingredients and delicious food and cocktails, this is your place. I'm pretty sure there isn't another place like this in the area, and we're staying at a very nice hotel. Great service too.
