This restaurant has a very extensive gluten-free menu. Daily they have special gluten-free pies. They also have them frozen to-go. I had the regular "Very Berry" pie. EXCELLENT. Patti waited on us. Great service and a very pleasant smile.

Tables sat dirty for the hour we were here 😳 the people next to us left (it is a seat yourself restaurant) the waitress never even went over to them. It took us 10 min to get our drinks. Over 45 for our food. It was typical diner food. Disappointed for this being related #1 on here

On our way to and from Lake Placid, we often stop here for lunch or breakfast. The staff are all local and are such fun! The food is always tasty, really great comfort food! The baked goods are so tasty! Price are very fair!

You simply won't find a better place to eat. Incredible quality and selection. The gluten-free menu is beyond belief. The selection of pies and to go foods is overwhelming. The service I received tonight was quite a bit on the trashy side. I had to listen to two young waitresses discussing sharing tips. It was uncomfortable to say the least... More

Slow service at times scondary to larger groups wih multiple checks and large orders. Food is hit or miss. Pie is good. Breakfast was better than dinner. Dinner platter included frozen mixed veggies although hot turkey was pretty good. Charging relatively high prices to unsuspecting downstaters. This is not NYC cost of living but I guess the restaurant has too... More

Nice country style diner with good breakfast. Home made pies are also very good. Nice place to stop on the way to Lake Placid and Saranac lake

We love this place for breakfast. Nice size portions of pancakes, eggs bacon etc. The homemade strawberry and raspberry jams are incredible. It attracts a lot of hikers and climbers since it is right near the Garden trailheads.

We stopped after hiking and grabbed some takeout. Grilled Vermont cheddar on gf bread--delicious! Wish we had been hungry enough to try one of their cinnamon rolls or pies.

My favorite gluten free pie in the free world is from this bakery/diner. I love their hearty breakfasts which are a must have for the men who visit annually for a canoe outing. Additionally, the pastry case is full of pies and goodies to take home and serve to guests or an extraordinarily happy husband. This diner is a mainstay... More
