Treats, coffees, teas, sandwiches and lunch items, and much more in this little market shop - we went several times and stocked up on specialty items we couldn't get anywhere else. A must stop!

We stay at the Dartbrook Lodge and we walk over to the bakery/market. They make frozen dishes. This year we bought there chicken pot pies and beef stragonoff and took it back to the cottage-Yum- They also sell bakery goods. Nexts door is a wine and spirits store. In all it's a great place to get some good food and... More

Been there many times from snack to frozen dinner, from coffee and pastry to grocery. Love every bit of it and the people are great. So glad it is in the area.

Their veggies burgers are the best I have ever had (and I've had loads). Such amazing vegetarian and vegan options, homemade breads, amazing people and location.

We sat on the rocking porch and met some very nice people. There are many gourmet type packaged and jarred items. The bakery is fresh but if you want warm out of the oven, go to the ADK cafe. The items here are cold and cannot be warmed to produce the same product result. Help is friendly.

Love Kristi and how helpful she is. For the person who said the owner was rude...maybe you need to understand North Country people better. Or people period. We were in Jay for a wedding of a local woman and our grandson. As we were having breakfast for folks who were leaving on Sunday, we stopped there to order pastries for... More

I stopped in to ask if the Cedar Run sold a mix for corn bread. The answer was "no" but they did have a high quality corn meal on the shelf. Not being much of a baker I asked a few questions about the ingredients, etc. Barbara went back in the kitchen, measured and bagged all the necessary ingredients (including... More

We stopped here to check it out on our way to Lake Placid. Very good variety of items from soups and salads to meals to heat up at home and a large array of baked goods. Person behind counter not very friendly. Prices were VERY high. Over $4.00 for a small box of crackers. But, as I said, great variety... More

Though the sandwiches are pre made, they are fresh and delicious and there's an excellent variety. Salads are also great, delicious and fresh despite being pre made. Baked goods are super and the coffee is excellent. There's lots of other good food to be had too - if you are renting a cabin with kitchen, this is a great place... More

Great sandwiches, baked goods, and prepared meals. Sadly, I can't patronize them anymore as they are just plain rude. I've visited the shop on many different trips, many different times of the year. I kept hoping they were just having a bad day. Went back today, same thing. They treat customers as an imposition.
