First time back to the Jamesport Manor Inn since the fire which destroyed to old building. Nevertheless, the food, wine, and atmosphere were as lovely as ever, perhaps even better. The staff is cheerful, cordial, and extremely friendly. I had the salmon (delicious) and my wife had the short ribs (mouth wateringly good). This treasure is a must see.

Arrived mid week with a large group and whilst the venue was very quiet, the service was excellent. Chose from a set Menu and had pate, pasta and ice cream, sounds very basic but that does not do justice to the actual food served. Great venue and I hope to visit again soon.

Nice restaurant. Service was great. Not rushed. For an appetizer I had the roasted peaches very good and took home half hubby had the watermelon salad also good. I had the grilled tuna and hubby had the filet mignon. Dessert was the macadmia nut pie. Plenty of food. Would go back again.

Comfortable decor, fine ingredients, well prepared, no surprises. Had duck breast over linguini and haricots verts, with sauce including shredded confit of duck and berries. Would get one more star if it were possible to get all elements on one forkfull, Wife had wonderful fillet mignon with comfort food mashed potatoes and haricots verts. Comfort without stodginess, great service, fine... More

We recently dined here with friends, at their suggestion, and we are glad they did. The place is so quaint looking, quiet, and relaxing. We were offered a table in a small alcove by the window looking over their rather expansive lawn. It was cozy and very conducive to chatting with our friends that we have not seen in awhile.... Beautiful old manor house. I love the various dining nooks and different little rooms to eat in. The night got off to a slow start when we were immediately seated, given a menu and bread and then no server came by for close to 15 minutes until we asked for one. Our server apologized explaining that no one told her... More

Our group of 5 had a wonderful dinner here. The food was excellent, from appetizers to dessert. Service was friendly, prompt and efficient. The wine list focused on Long Island vineyards, but other areas were represented as well. Nice decor.

My daughter and I were going out east to an event at the riverhead aquarium, so we made it a point to stop here for lunch. My daughters wedding is going to be at Martha Clara Vineyards next year and the chef at the inn has a catering business that they use at the vineyard, so we wanted to try... More
