We stopped and had some vegetable and chicken curry while in the Center Ithaca. It was flavorful and pretty authentic. My only complaint would be that it wasn't very warm / fresh.

I always walk in to Sangam feeling hungry and leave feeling full and happy. The owners are very welcoming, the staff is inviting, and the food is authentic and has a personal touch. Whenever I am craving Indian food I always head to sangam and order matar paneer for a meal with a dessert of gulab jamun. The second best... More

I drive 90 minutes every 2 weeks from PA just to eat here. The lunch buffet has great variety and is of very high quality.

Great food and they actually use an indian style oven, which makes the food taste authentic. Plus you can't beat the price of the buffet. Two thumbs up!
As an Indian (hailing from south India), I highly appreciate the fact that among the Indian restaurants I have eaten in Ithaca whenever I visit my friend in Ithaca, Sangam is the only one that has Masala Dosa(Rice crepe with a savory potato filling inside) in its buffet. I had some suggestions to the owner about the ingredients used in... More

I am a regular visitor here. The reason being food is so close to home. It is not same gravy in all different curries kind of a place. Every dish has unique spices, freshness and taste like authentic Indian food. I love their tawa paranthas, again so close to home. Buffet changes dishes everyday and you can pretty much eat... More
Even though I had take out, the restaurant was very warm. The food was very good. One can order it mild, medium, and hot spicy. I can't comment on the service as my order was take out. The food was like home-made.
Generic greasy buffet. Ithaca needs a really good Indian restaurant but this isn't it. Why do so many Indian restaurants adopt such an unhealthy formula--add oil, turmeric and butter until everything is yellow and floats--when real Indian food is subtle and varied and light?
Good ambience, great food, fine dining experience are hallmarks of Sangam. The staffs are polite and courteous. Try mutton vindaloo, tandoori paratha, malai kofta, garlic naan, poori are mouth watering and delicious. Located near the old entrance gate of Cornell University.
