So sometimes you crave fried oysters, and while Mexican cuisine features many delicious things empanizado, oysters is not one of those things. The first time we ate here, it was a weekend, and the oysters, ribs and bread pudding were all that we wished for, well and freshly prepared. The second time we visited, they were not serving any oysters.... More

Hi Jane. Certainly the health secretary sent a warning that certain Mexican molluscs were contaminated and as a way of prevention, invited all food vendors to avoid their sale as a precaution. The season of closure finished, so since the end of April the oyster could be sold again. More

I had a sopa tarasca which was really delicious! But what I'll never forget is the truffle cake... If you are a chocolate lover, you HAVE to try it! Watch out, the portion is huge. Definitely recommend it :)

A great place to sit alone and have a drink and watch people. They bring you popcorn and the service was great. I had expected it to be more expensive than it was. 2 for 1 though until 8:00 pm! The photo is a view from my table on their patio.

The place is nice directly on main square. Under the arcades. Service is good. Food is average. I chosse Jambalya. Rice was certainky cooked separately. Not so tasty. I was disppointed. My friend took the Tuna he was satisfied. The day after I eat on the street. 20 times cheaper and so tasty. You can go for the location.

Our timing was perfect when we decided to go to Hank's New Orleans Cafe & Oyster Bar in Centro Querétaro, arriving minutes before an unusual February rainfall, and on a night that Hank's had one of their regular bands playing, which had us dancing in our chairs until past midnight! There are different bands playing various nights so if you're... More

We ended here after touring downtown and they had space for our large group. We were promptly seated but it went downhill from there. Food was insipid and without imagination. Burgers (170 pesos) were the costco frozen type which were way undercooked. They mixed up our order and some in our party ended up eating about 45 minutes after the... More

El lugar está bien ubicado y la comida no es mala, lástima que tengan preferencias por ciertos clientes y no son atentos con el turista. Besides they don't speak any English and waiters are rude. Don't come during day light for the terrace, the sun shine is heavy and they don't invest in any proper shade covers.

Harry's has now become Hank's but the food and margaritas have, happily, stayed just as good. Two for one margaritas of many flavours, great Po'Boy Shrimp, lively atmosphere on the plaza, excellent service and good value are all reasons for a visit.

I was GRANDPAcking in Queretaro for 7 nights and found myself down Hank's a couple of times. Hank's in San Miguel De Allende was one of my favourite bars ... so, I thought that I'd give their place in Queretaro a try. The 2 are very different. Hank's in Queretaro is in Jardin Zenea and looks out over the central... More

Description
Hank's is the new name of the famous Harry's Restaurant with 12 years of history in Mexico, since 1999 in San Miguel Allende and since 2004 in Queretaro. Hank's is a bit of Louisiana and its "French Quarter", which offers the traditional Cajun cuisine from New Orleans. The atmosphere at Hank's is incomparable, you can enjoy a delicious dinner or spend a pleasant evening in the bar, drinking a margarita, a martini or a devastating hurricane while listening to jazz music.
