Standards have fallen here. The food used to be passable, but is just not very good. Service is pretty slow and abrupt, at best. Avoid.

Hamilton is a very small college town and to find an Indian restaurant that has been around a while is an amazing fact to begin with. We went there after checking the web site and reviews from other visitors. We opted for the buffet and the food did not disappoint. The flavor has been adjusted a bit so, it is... More
We enjoyed the take out meal we had. Not quite as much spice as we are accustomed to but that may be more to the clients taste. The peshawar naan was very good. We had different dishes and both had plenty of meat. Would visit again.
For about $20 my son & I had all we could eat (2 plates each). The buffet items were nicely spiced but not too spicy, & incuded was a plate of fresh warm (delicious) nan bread delivered to our table. There were several tasty chicken items (chicken Tikka maslal was one) & some of kind of meatball- sized deep-fried vegetarian... More
My wife and I really enjoy the food here. For the best value and for the most diversity, try their lunch buffet. If you are a vegetarian (which I'm not) there is a wide selection. Additionally, the staff is friendly and the service very good. I highly recommend Royal India Grill.
This restaurant is an unexpected treat for those who appreciate authentic international cuisine. This is Indian food you do not want to miss. Do not let the simple decor fool you. The food is always excellent and the service friendly and attentive. The lunch buffet is a particularly generous reasonably priced taste of spices and combinations of a variety of... More

Sort of dark, mysterious, Indian music quietly playing in the background, and Indian decor surrounding. The waiting staff is friendly, and the food and staff are authentic Indian. It's buffet has a lot of variety for a small restaurant, and of... More
The food was tasty, fairly standard Indian fare. But what stood out for us was the difficulty they seemed to have with reservations. we ended up moving tables so they could push some together to honor a reservation for a larger party. Dropped by in January 2016, but didn't go in because all the tables seemed empty but not bussed... More
