This restaurant serves a large variety of foods from Itaian to American to fish fries and most is good, Dinners are served w/potato and vegetable or with salad and soup bar. Good for families with kids meals on menu.

So our family ordered takeout and it was probably for the best because we might have given things back. Here is a rundown: Fried Shrimp - overcooked and it seemed like the oil doesn't get changed very often. It didn't come with cocktail sauce and I'm not certain if it was just forgotten or if we seriously needed to ask... More

Being on the Island for 10 days we were looking for a new place to eat. We walked into the Town Cafe and two minutes later we walked right back out. I cannot give a fair assessment of the food or the service so I am not going to do that but what I can say was the overwhelming smell... More

Buffalo is famous for fish fries and the Town Cafe is our regular place to go on Fridays. Lots of food and very reasonable prices. Service is always good. We prefer the "breaded" and not the beer battered fish and you get your choice of potato and coleslaw for the a la carte meal or with soup and salad bar... More

12 years ago when we moved to the island, we ordered take out from town cafe. It was the worst fish and fries I ever ate. So we were very reluctant to give them another try. I am so glad we did. The food and the service was very good. The only complaint I have is the decor

We got into town late and this was one of the few restaurants open. Although they had to check with the kitchen to see if they would serve us and said they could. We all had the hot beef sandwich with gravy and mashed potatoes. The menu said it was all homemade. It was NASTY! The gravy was obviously from... More

We were not sure it was open from the road, but were so glad we stopped. Nice selection and best beer battered fish I have had in ages. It is a little off the highway, and so worth it!

We drove around for 30 minutes looking for a restaurant open on a Sunday evening. This one was, but served my son raw chicken fingers (thankfully I cut them into pieces first and noticed this) and the other one got a charred burger. The lady sitting in the table beside us said her ravioli was 'moldy or burnt'. My burger... More
