We went to Tuthillhouse at the Mill on a Saturday night for a light dinner and drinks. I think this place would have gotten an "Average" rating from me but the scenery here is so beautiful and the staff was very friendly, that I'll give them the "Very Good" rating. We made a reservation, but the place didn't look packed.... More

This place wants to be gourmet, charges like it's gourmet, but the experience falls flat. The pros: -Beautiful atmosphere, especially outside. -Our server, Gianni, was great and the hostesses were friendly. -My friends had cocktails called Snake in the Coconut Grove and Ceasefire. They were tasty and well composed, complex and special. -My friend liked his charcuterie board, and his... More

We lunched before taking the distillery tour. My portobello sandwich was good. My wife's pork BLT was awful. It was a portion of fat served on a sandwich. The waitress brought a portion of coleslaw to compensate for the awful sandwich and gave me a credit for her meal. Her service was professional so I tipped her for what would... More

We came here for a late lunch on a Sunday. Saturday and Sunday is brunch during the day. The restaurant is in an old mill so there are original wood beams which are very cool. There is a bar in the center and tables around the perimeter of the room. There is outdoor seating. We were placed near one of... More

We visited Tuthill (both the restaurant and the distillery) in late July 2016. After a number of confused road detours around the Shawangunk Wine Trail had caused us to miss every winery we had tried to reach, we finally reached Tuthill in time for a late lunch. What a treat! We lunched entirely on their "tartines" which were nicely done... More

Stopped back while visiting the Hudson Valley. We ate here a couple of years ago to a real nice meal. We weren't disappointed. Diver Scallops were very good as was the Lamb Shank over pasta special. The drinks were yummy. You won't go wrong here. A little pricy but you get what you pay for.

This is a culinary experience I have not often found in the area. The menu is creative and everything we had, including the scallops, were flavorful. Ingredients are carefully chosen to compliment each other. The night we dined there was a smoked salmon appetizer woth avocado mousse--outstanding! The atmosphere adds to the experience. I highly recommend the Tuthill House.

We were traveling to visit wineries and vineyards for the weekend, so took a chance on having a late dinner here and it was perfect!! The meal, service, decor, and drinks were fabulous. It is located near many places of interest if you want to see the Hudson Valley

I had a Lavender Gin Gimlet, which was both beautiful and delicious, my husband enjoyed his Blood Mary and its definite kick. (Neither of us had a second drink, as the first seemed plenty strong for us to feel their effects a bit and we had to drive back to the hotel later. This tells me that they're not skimping... More

A group of 6 of us stayed for dinner after the tasting tour and were very pleased with the quality of the food. The salmon was delicious. Stay or come early to enjoy the bar as well.
