The owner founded the restaurant decades ago and still comes in most day. It's run by her children and grandchildren. Order anything and you will like it. Excellent service too.

We've had so many wonderful, celebratory meals at Chez Pierre. But this last visit was for Saratoga Springs' Chowderfest. It was our last stop of at least 6 restaurants- Chex Pierre not only won our vote for best Chowder of the day but we received the gracious full service one would expect if we were there for a regular meal.... We dine at Chez Pierre every August - this must have been at minimum our 30th visit, over a 30 year period. We have never been disappointed! Food, service, presentation, reasonable wine list. I always order one of the steaks in a delicious, rich sauce - creme de menthe parfait for dessert. Although the restaurant is in the middle of... More

We recently celebrated my birthday here and enjoyed immensely their Price Fix menu selections for $27 pp. This limited menu includes liver pate and bread/crackers, choice of soup or salad, main entree with potato au gratin, choice of vegetable, and dessert. There are 3 main entree selections to choose from and our daughter had the pork medallions with mushroom cream... More

Looking for someplace new in Saratoga. Downtown in August is always busy so wanted to get a bit farther away, and wanted a really nice dinner. Found this online - reviews weren't glowing but the menu looked fantastic. Lived here for 25 years and never heard of the place. Thought we'd give it a try. French menu, but the food... More

We have been going to Chez Pierre for many years and love the family and all that their restaurant offers. The food is delicious and hearing the original owner of 52 years, Pierrette, talk about France is wonderful. We highly recommend this restaurant

One of my favorite places to eat. Food is always outstanding and so is the service. The only bad thing is that all the dinners are so great its hard to decide on what to have!

This bit of French elegance will please even the most experienced world traveler. This restaurant has been owned by the same family for generations. The service is attentive and relaxed. You won't find finer food this side of the Atlantic. Don't miss it!
