We had an after funeral lunch here in the private room upstairs. It was the perfect place. We wanted something private & Irish & this fit the bill. The Irish buffet was delish. The corned beef & cabbage was spectacular. People loved the Guinness chicken too. Everything was great. The servers were super nice & accommodating. We used the outside... More

Looking for a place on a Sunday evening, found Mulconry's on TA. It was quiet and service was quick and friendly. Selected food Irish in nature (ok, corned beef isn't really) and was generally pleased with choices. Bangers and mashed were very good, served with baked beans that could have been cooked longer to make them less al dente. Quite... More

I actually dines here twice this week; once for lunch by myself, and the second time to host a party for a co-worker. As always, Mulconry's does a fantastic job of everything they do. I sat at the bar last weekend and had a bowl of their wonderful onion soup. Today, over the lunch hour, I sat upstairs in their... More

Service good. Food good. Prices reasonable. Only negative is the acoustics. Can get a little loud when crowded. We would recommend & will be back!

Great place for lunch by the canal. We had 2 of the specials for lunch and they were both excellent. The wine list could use some improvement.

My husband and I met some friends here late (10 pm) on a hot Friday night while in town recently. The kitchen was getting ready to close so we quickly ordered some wings, a Reuben sandwich and some hot pretzel sticks along with some beers and my glass if wine. The Reuben was huge, fattening and yummy (a rare treat).... More

The server and hostess were friendly and did their job well. The Shepard's pie was served quickly and was delicious. The only minor complaint I have is the noise level. Apparently above the pub is an apartment. Kids were running back and forth and jumping up and down. I was waiting for them to come through the ceiling and land... More

Grab a beer (there's a great selection) and a delicious bite to eat while sitting outside and enjoying the charm of the Village of Fairport. The canal is right across the street, so create a perfect end to the night by getting an ice cream cone at the Box Factory (they accept cash only, but there's an ATM on site)... More

My wife and I visited on a weeknight and we were very pleasantly surprised. It was our first visit. The corned beef is absolutely terrific. My wife had fish which was equally outstanding. We will definitely visit again.

The food at Mulconry's is good. Nothing special, but at the same time, where else can you get a relatively authentic Irish boxty in Fairport (or in Rochester for that matter). The boxtys (potato pancakes) are pretty good and they always feature at least one as a special with a different filling. I enjoy the restaurant seating, and sitting outside... More
