We stayed here while visiting family. What a lovely hotel. H and Bonnie are great hosts! We'll be back!

We love fish dinners but where we live they are only available on Fridays. My husband got a cornmeal encrusted fried fish meal and I got the baked fish. Both of our dinners were great. We got 2 sides included with the meal as well as tiny circles of chewy, crusty bread served with real butter. I hate it when... More
Pleasant Beach has a very nice deck that has a great view of Little Sodus Bay. A lovely place to sit and have a cocktail. We've found the food to be a little hit-or-miss. The salad bar can be spotty, and some of the entrees are a bit overpriced for the quality. That being said, the wait staff is friendly,... More
This is my favorite place to chill out on a summer day and enjoy lunch or dinner on the patio. The owners H and Bonnie know hoe to make you feel special and the food is great, especially the crab cakes, the home made key lime pie by Bonnie...add in their very attentive wait staff. For example, one summer day,... More
Loved this place! Quiet location but still close to main route. History, comfort and beautiful views. Bed super comfy, shower sweet. Breakfast the next day yummy and filling. Wished we could have stayed a few more days. Proprietor s just the right combo of friendly but not on top of you. Struck up friendly conversations with fellow guests on balcony.... More
Place is nestled in a BEAUTIFUL bay. Service: Service seemed rather haphazard, and the uniforms (if that's what one should call them) were a hot mess. One waitress had on a navy blue T-shirt with company logo (I just think collared shirts are the norm when being a professional server) with hot pink cut off shorts and camouflage crocs. Everyone... This restaurant was recommended to us by someone that works at nearby Fair Haven State Park. You can eat on the patio or inside the restaurant. There are beautiful views of Little Sodus Bay from the patio! The service and food (excellent prime rib) were great too. We have been here several times, and it has been great every time.... More
On a warm sunny Saturday afternoon we stopped by to have lunch. We sat outside on the deck, which overlooked the bay. It was a lovely setting. We had two Ruebens (one was on wheat as they ran out of rye) They were filling and were grilled perfectly. We also had a steak sandwich and although it looked like a... More
In our party of six, three of us had the rib special. The portions were enormous, but the meat was woefully undercooked and flavorless. Two of us had the salmon, which also lacked flavor. I suppose this is a good place to try if you have a hearty appetite and aren't very discriminating - or are just coming to enjoy... More
The food is always delicious and reasonable. I love their salad bar and their Hamburger soup is fabulous. The owners and servers are always friendly. Great place to have dinner or stop by and have a drink. The view over the bay at sunset is stunning.
