My family and I always stop in for breakfast or lunch at the Arsenal Inn, so this time we tried lunch and it was just as good! I went with the bacon cheeseburger and a cup of clam chowder. My dad went with the BLT and was not disappointed. We find that the staff is always friendly and the food... More

We have lived in this town for almost 18 years and for breakfast or lunch, this is the place that you want to eat at! If you want a feel for the our area, this place is running completely by one family and you'll feel that when you enter. The food is all home cooking and good and the prices... More

They no longer take travelers despite the signage and 'office'. I had to go to the attached basic diner next door to find out.

On our way to Lake Placid, NY, we drove through Elizabethtown, AKA "E" town to locals. We were looking for a restaurant with few to choose from. We saw an "open" sign and decided to stop in. That was last year, this year, we purposely took the same route, just so we could eat there again. The sign says "Arsenal... More

Had both breakfast and lunch here over the Christmas holidays with my bride. We split a freshly roasted turkey club and I had a very good bowl of chowder on a very cold day. Breakfast consisted of eggs and a big plate of home fries done just the way I like them. Good value and friendly service. Definitely a local's... More

We stopped in for lunch on our way to Lake Placid. This is your quintessential American diner. Fabulous food, everything tasted homemade and scrumptious. The service was great, and I just loved the warmth of this diner.

Simple breakfast choices done well. Good coffee and OJ. Freshly made pancakes as big as the plate. No credit cards-- bring cash.

Whenever I’m in Elizabethtown, New York, I make it a point to stop by the Arsenal and get their fabulous hot turkey sandwich and fries (gravy on the fries, of course) with cranberry sauce ($6.95). They roast a fresh bird almost daily. This is a 50-seat family operation run by host Steve Pierce, which serves tasty homemade breakfast and lunch... More
