Stopped by when we were up for the great pumpkin blaze. Service was very good. Waitress went the extra mile and was very attentive. Food was good. Whole experience was just right for a Saturday night diner visit. Would recommend and definitely go back.

What a great place to stop by chance. This restaurant had top notch food, staff and is a lovely place to relax while you look out over Duck Pond. The menu consisted of a large variety of foods to satisfy any pallet and portions were generous. Prices were reasonable, especially given the quality of the meals. When we return to... More

We went for breakfast during the week and couldn't believe the foot traffic. It has parking. Breakfast was good. French toast was nothing special but the portions are huge. Pancakes and corn beef hash very tasty. Coffee ok. They were attentive and the place looked clean. Would go back if in the area.

Our waitress was very nice but this place a bit of a letdown. The food is crazy greasy and generic. I witness waitresses and others handling food with their bare hands and breaking obvious hygiene rules. Prices are great and staff are friendly.

This is my favorite diner in the area. The prices are reasonable, the food is good, and the specials are awesome. I usually get the duck for eighteen bucks. It comes with soup, salad, vegetable, starch, coffee or tea, and an unreal dessert of your choice. I've never been disappointed. I have to say, most of their soups are the... More

Typical family restaurant with good food and average service. The menu is huge so it offers a selection for everyone but unfortunately it menas that they don't specialize in any one great dish. We enjoy it all the same as it doesn't break the bank and it beats a chain restaurant any day of the week.

I've been eating at this diner for over 25 years and it remains a staple in the community as well as a local hangout. As diners go, this is one of the better ones, with a wide, varied menu where you can get anything from a snack to a full meal. Staff are friendly and helpful, particularly the mainstay server... I have eaten at the Croton Diner hundreds of times since moving to this area in 1972. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Pete and his family deserve the highest marks for providing so many great choices combined with excellent and personable service.

Great service and good food; a bit expensive since it's in an expensive town. I prefer the Bypass Diner on Welcher Avenue a bit further north.

We went for breakfast on FAthers Day. It was crowded but we got a table right away. The eggs and French toast were very good. Enjoyed it!
