Great waiter, knowledgable about the menu and friendly. A bit pricy, but tasty. Beef was a bit too tough, but sauce excellent.

By its TA ratings I might not have picked this restaurant . Our meal and service were excellent . I had the special: Duck breast l'orange with haricot verts and whipped potatoes , all of which were prepared and presented perfectly . The duck breast was cooked medium rare as I requested. My husband had the eggplant involtini over orzo... More

My husband is celiac i.e. gluten free and the waitress truly understood and accomadated his requests. When she wasn't sure about something, she asked the chef. We both loved our meals, I would have given this restaurant five points but the waitress that seated us was borderline rude.

The first thing that strikes me is the imagination of the cook staff. In addition to the meat-and-potatoes apparently required these days the menu has several unusual soups, appetizer and salads. The latter are always spectacular, esp. the Harbor fish soup. New Orleans could not improve on the shrimp etouffe (sp?) I recently ordered.Service is prompt and attentive and the... More

The menu selection was quite broad and service was attentive & prompt. We especially enjoyed our appetizer: Black Mission Figs Wrapped in Prosciutto de Parma, Stuffed with Boursin Cheese, Drizzled with Clover Honey and a Balsamic Reduction.

I suppose it is good dining. The other three people in the party enjoyed the meal. My steak ordered rare came dry and well done. Poor me! They were quite apologetic so I do not want to "bad mouth" the place. Better luck next time.

Wanting to try this restaurant for years, I finally had the opportunity to be in Corning at dinner time and was very pleasantly surprised with the amazing food at The Three Birds! The veal tenderloin over pasta was excellent and the beef tenderloin was perfect. All the sides were fresh, well seasoned and cooked, and we devoured the home baked... More

My friend recommended The Three Birds on Market Street for a drink after dinner on a Saturday night. We had been out hiking and adventuring all day, so when we finally cleaned up and went out for the evening, we were so excited for walking up and down Market Street. When we walked into The Three Birds, we were not... More

The dishes are mostly meat & fish, but have interesting sides. The portions are generous. There's a bar.

This is supposed to be one of the nicer restaurants in Corning, but the chef is beyond clueless. I ordered the special - a filet mignon with horseradish on the top. I ordered it rare, as in cold center rare, traditional rare. What I got was beyond medium, hot center and bone dry - not a drop of juice, blood... More

We at Three Birds pride ourselves on our consistent cuisine. We serve only the highest quality products in a relaxing professional environment. Your evening was none of the above and we apologize. Even after replacing your meal we still didn't hit our mark. This is not indicative of our usual service or cuisine. We set the bar high and aim... More
