Went with two other couples for dinner. An order for a bottle of champagne to be ready when we got there. It was in an ice bucket with no ice. The bottle was uncorked. The server said the she was letting the wine breathe. Bad made drink had to send it back. A steak ordered rare served well done. I... More

We called a few days before, and still got a seat. It was worth it. Our waiter - John - was excellent, and so was the food. Shrimp Alexander for her, crab-stuffed sole for me. Both delicious! The salads were, as usual, superb. One drink each (two for me!), and a hundred bucks later, we went home to watch the... More

The food was excellent food, had the pork tenderloin and the sea bass. Both were very good with no complaints. A little bit on the pricey side - about a $100 for two including tip and a glass of wine a piece. However we would definitely go again; it is well worth a visit. Food service does not begin until... The 4 of us had the best dinners at 3 Birds. And they were very busy. Our waitress was a bit harassed but did fine. Wine selection excellent. This has to be the best restaurant in Corning and proud to have a place like this to go to!

We came during 'Sparkle' week, which made for total madness in the streets. Although the restaurant was booked solid, we were invited to stay and eat at the bar. We ordered simply to make things easier and quicker. We both had the small 8 oz steak, good med/rare but with different sauces (nice that they had this option). I had... More

We were traveling in upstate NY to visit the Corning Glass Museum. Checked out tripadvisor and picked The Three Birds. We also cheked with a local businessman and he recommended it and said it was the BEST in town. Didn't expect to find something so wonderful. Ambiance, service and menu A+. We had the tuna and salmon, very fresh and... More

When visiting the Corning Glass museum, we ventured the relatively short distance to The Three Birds for an early dinner. Parking on the street was not an issue and service was attentive. We enjoyed some NY wine and two nice entrees. I had the scallops which was pricey but well worth it.

Arrived in town late on a Monday night and were welcomed warmly. There was a good wine selection and the menu had lots on offer. Enjoyed the predinner bread, salads were fresh and meals were very good with one exception. The chicken was overcooked and dry in spots. No room for dessert.

Had dinner last night with 2 other people. Server was quite good and professional. Pumpkin ravioli was perfect but not the least bit warm much less hot. Not sure if it was a kitchen issue or if it sat out waiting for the server but he took it off the bill without being asked and we didn't expect it. The... More

We heard about this restaurant while in Watkins Glen. Someone recomended to eat the steaks they have, but we ended up eating pork ( honey-roasted pecan crusted pork tenderloin) and brie en croute. It was excellent, especially the brie. But, what I loved the most was the cream brulee. I love this desert and it was the best I ever... More
