A Chestertown tradition, the Deer Crossing continues as a friendly local stop for Breakfast or Lunch, great food and fair prices. Very popular especially with the locals who know where to go!

Decent food. Has a bar with lotto tickets. An eclectic establishment. Not fine dining, but passable if you're hungry enough.

You can't miss this place. It is bright yellow with orange trim. My husband and I enjoy the delicious breakfast they offer. We usually get the pick 4. You get to pick 4 items 2 eggs, 2 sausage or bacon, home fries etc. Friendly service.

We came in for a quick breakfast. It was hardy, tasty and they were friendly. It was a great value. I was a bit bummed they did not have grits but other then that very minor point, the menu was flexible in how and what you could order (this is not something very usual IMO.

Very good breakfast and lunch. Creative menu, you couple doing a nice job. Don't let the outside paint job put you off.

It was an okay breakfast. Service was fast and pleasant. Breakfast was simple eggs and coffee for us. Would try again if in the area.

Great place to stop anytime. We were heading along the through way and kids were howling for food. We found this place quite accidentally and were amazed by the quality and cleanliness. Top rate. They used an iPad for taking our order. Waiter was very attentive and food delicious.

Restaurant is under new management according to the staff. The kitchen is now home for a former NY state champion chef with amazing talent. Tried the vermonster for lunch with a cup of French onion soup. Hands down the best comfort food combination in the area. Prices are affordable. Service is excellent. Its great to see a place with this... More

This place has gone through multiple owners. After Marcela closed it last Fall, we were glad to hear it was reopening. The first time with the new couple, it was fine, the last time, it was horrible. First we had to wait a few minutes to be seated. Then we asked to sit in the back room and they wouldn't... More
