After our stay a few months ago was interrupted by other guests, I was contacted by the General Manager personally about how disappointed he was that we were not happy with our stay. I can see after this visit that this was just a fluke, the entire staff was amazing. The dining was once again, delicious, the wait staff was... More

We enjoyed lunch at the Lakehouse at Sagamore. First of all, the view and setting is outstanding. You are basically sitting right on the lake and are surrounded be gorgeous mountains. It's one of the nicest views I've had while eating. The service was great with a knowledgable server. He was helpful, but not intrusive. The food was average. We... More

The menu here is aimed at serving a large resort so it is simple fare and there are not a lot of options. No burger for example. I had a tune wrap that was only ok. Prices are reasonable, Service is fine.

This is one of the most casual places at the Sagamore Resort and overlooks the lake and docks. We stopped in for just drinks, which were good. Service was attentive, but not too much. The menu is the same as the pool. Overall, a nice place to enjoy the atmosphere.

We were there for the day - had Spa treatments so decided to go down to the beautiful lake to have drinks and relax. The person tending the bar did not acknowledge we were standing right there waiting for service - he barely spoke and was not welcoming or friendly at all.

We were in the area and had never been to the Sagamore, but a friend said it was a great place to stop for lunch. We were a little concerned we might not be welcome in jeans and t-shirts, but no one gave us a second glance when we walked in the front door, through the lobby, and down the... More

Was there during July 4th week. This place uses pesticides constantly. Little children running around with yellow warning signs. No place to hang out in the grass with that going on. No place to sit for fireworks (they treated just a couple days before the 4th of July). Not to mention all the run off into beautiful Lake George. How... More

Great food, excellent drinks and very good service. The Sagamore by far has restaurants and bars up to par. Great views of the Lake and luxurious surroundings. The staff was very attentive but not overbearing.
