I'm talking about the family, the other customers and a special shout-out to the bartender Nancy. Drinks delicious, food excellent!

Escaping to the Catskills means fresh air, beautiful landscapes, even delicious tasting water. It includes the warm smiles of locals who treat you like their own. 20 minutes West of the Kingston NYS Thruway exit on Rte 28 you'll find the warm inviting Boiceville Inn. Regulars and "weekenders" enjoy a decent menu and prices. The beer battered haddock made to... More

The comfortable and friendly atmosphere of the Inn makes it a consistently agreeable place to visit. Since the family un this family-owned establishment is a politically active one, I suspect the negative review here may be traced to Party affiliation and weighed as such. As a non-partisan Independent, my approval is based upon experience and knowledge of the community-mindedness of... More

The Boiceville Inn is family-owned and one of those local places that feels instantly welcoming when you walk in. Prices are reasonable and we've been here about a half-dozen times and enjoyed it every time. The pork chops for dinner are a must, incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor, as are the twice-baked potatoes. Homemade soups are excellent. And... More

My family eats here regularly also, Anne H is wrong !! It's the country Anne H. Its rustic, cozy and friendly . Best homemade soups in the area. Fireplace gives it a warm atmosphere. Local regulars also make for a great atmosphere. Great beers on tap served by a very pleasant barmaid. Great dinner specials always with a homemade soup... More

We attended a reunion event here for graduates of the local central school. We had a back room with hors d'oeuvres and got our own drinks from the bar. I was pleasantly surprised that the red wine was quite good and very reasonably priced. The snacks were also good. It appeared that the locals enjoy the bar as well, because... More

My family and I eat at the BI every week. The interior is rustic and charming... We must all remember that this is a FAMILY owned and operated business. All food is fresh and home cooked cooked it's always different it reminds me of my grandmothers cooking and we love it. My kids love it. The family is wonderful and... More

I don't think the previous reviewer ate at this same place. My husband and I like to try local family owned places, but clearly we made a mistake this time. It started with an initially poor impression of the tired, outdated interior that was very unappealing. The restroom was filthy and then we were handed menus with food residue encrusted... More

We enjoyed a few sociable beers here and felt very relaxed. We got chatting to some of the family members who own the Inn and they made us feel very welcome. Don't let the exterior deceive you - it doesn't look like much but when you open the door a warm cosy country bar/restaurant awaits. The locals were friendly too... More
