This restaurant has historical and sentimental ale for our family. When my mom was growing up, this was quite the hangout. There are historical murals on the walls, and on one is her signature. I'm sure it was graffiti at the time, but since she passed 17 years ago, it is a thrill to see her signature there. We had... More

Have been to this site several times, old fashioned simple offers ranging from breakfasts to dinners, good plain comfort food. Service is attentive, prices reasonable, average to above average.

My mother is picky when it comes to her homefries and these were well seasoned and done just right with that tad bit of crunch you want but not over done...our eggs were cooked perfectly. I love eggs benedict but don't like it when you get it and it's snotty per say...mine was perfect and the hollandaise was smooth not... More

I spent a weekend in Ballston Spa and was looking for somewhere for breakfast As we drove through town at 7am, we saw 'bar lights' on and stopped in. The Whitehouse is a beautiful old building with a nice looking bar on one side and a diner on the other. They serve a wide range of omelettes and Eggs Benedict... More

Arrive a little after 11. Waitress said we are only serving breakfast. We had breakfast early in the morning. This might not be good. Luckily she asked the owner and they said we can do lunch, COOL. I had a chicken spinach quesadilla , wife had a philly wrap. Both very good. Not a fan of the battered fries. Actually... More

Went to the Whitehouse for lunch on a weekday with my elder parents. We had: burger (with no bun, cooked perfectly medium rare, nice toppings), combo appetizer (choice of three different apps- I had mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, and onion rings). Batter was tasty, crisp, and the melba sauce was yummy. Last was the fish fry platter.... nicely cooked, and... More

Wonderful breakfast selection. It is nice to have a quiet restaurant to enjoy a delicious breakfast. The waitress was friendly. Reasonably priced. Food made to order.

This is one of our favorite places for weekend breakfast. Fast and friendly service, solid range of options, willing to customize to taste, and delish hollandaise sauce!

I recently arrived at the whitehouse restaurant with my family hoping to enjoy a nice meal out together. I was shocked and disappointed by the poor level of service which included inattentive and rude wait staff as well as finding hairs in both my and my sons meals. When I brought this to the managers attention, he rudely dismissed me... More

We go here about once a month and enjoy their breakfast. The portions are generous and the service efficient. The omelets are excellent, though my wife has given up ordering eggs over hard, as they tend to be served softer than she prefers. Not fancy, but wholesome fare.
