This place was recommended by the owners at the Blue Swallow and they arranged for a free shuttle bus to collect us and drop us back. The food was our first experience of New Mexico so I had so much rouble deciding I had to go for the mix platter. Don't hesitate and do the same. It was truly amazing... More

On a Sunday night, the dinner options in Tucumcari are very limited. Pow Wow restaurant was probably the best choice. The menu offers mostly Mexican-style food and steaks. I would avoid the steaks and stick with the Mexican items. The chips were good; the salsa was out of a jar but spicy. The salad bar is very small so don't... More

Green chili super spicy and sooo good! I had cheese enchiladas with green sauce. Chips and salsa, big thumbs up!

They offer luncheon buffet at a reasonable price, but I had just missed it. They stil honored a lunch hamburger special and it was delicious. The waitress was most accommodating and mad my meal very enjoyable. The bar selection looked good, but too early for Happy Hour. Maybe next time.

Fantastic place with murals in restaurant well worth seeing. Bar prices very reasonable and friendly staff. I had a Taco salad for dinner which was average - wished I had had another meal as some looked great.

Only 3 non fast food restaurants open on a Sunday night, and Pow Wow was awful last night. It took 4 staff members standing around chatting to greet and seat us. Should've known then things would not go well. Got seated , went to the less than wonderful salad bar tho hubby enjoyed the super hot green chili, and our... More

Tucumcari doesn't have much happening on Sunday night, but this is the place to be. It is a restaurant/lounge combo but also good for watching Sunday night football. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My Roadkill Dip (roast beef) was delicious. Give it a try...even if it is not Sunday!

Were traveling through the area and had Sunday lunch here and enjoyed our meal. Very good service. Would go here again when in the area.

We checked in late at the Motel and found that very few restaurants were open late on a Sunday Night. The Desk Manager at the Motel suggested the Pow Wow. It was a real trip. With all the murals on the walls inside the restaurant it looked like people were sitting in the booths that were empty. The food was... More

We had trouble finding a restaurant open Sunday night. I had the tamales. Nice and spicy but the tamale was a bit hard. My husband had a steak and thought it was salty. Decent atmosphere.
