Excellent New Mexican breakfast with huge portions. Their red and green chile is vegetarian and the waitress (who was very friendly and helpful) warned us that the "green is pretty hot today," and brought a tortilla to help soak up the spice. The guacamole was great--I like it with lots of lime, so if you don't like it that way,... More

Over the years frequenting this for breakfast, it has remained consistent and a great value for the price. It has higher conscious options as in free range eggs and local grass fed Beef. There has been some hick ups in changing the menu but the owner gets a lot of locals and catches on fast and makes the needed improvements.... More

Food is good and portions are large. Our group had the pancakes, omelette and oatmeal, all prepared well. Loved the bacon, nice taste and crisp. Place is busy. Not as unique, friendly and comfortable as the original Taos Diner. Same menu so check them out.

My wife and I spent two nights at the Hotel La Fonda on the Taos Plaza--but their restaurant was closed at the time--so when we woke up (late) we looked on the map of Taos provided by the hotel and saw that the Taos Diner was around the corner. Around noon we walked over for a brunch. We were rapidly... More

This is a must when in Taos. The menu is huge and everything is good. I love their giant breakfast burritos smothered in green chili and the veggie quesadilla. If the breakfast special is Calabacitas......GET IT!!! The burgers and fries rock. It is never a problem to customize your order.

We went to Taos Diner I & II and we loved both. Taos Diner I was on the other side of town and much fast seating and service becuase it is less crowded BUT they offer the same food. They have gluten free options and seemed pretty knowledgable.

This is our favorite breakfast spot! They have something for everyone: Meat-eaters, vegetarians, gluten-free, etc. they also serve lots of non-breakfast items, so everyone really can get what they want.

Taos Diner 1 & 2 were highly recommended by our vacation home owner and several locals. I am so glad we took there advice but sorry we waited until the second to last day. The red chile sauce was the best that I had in Taos and almost as good as my favorite place in Santa Fe. I enjoyed it... More
