Great choice for breakfast. Has a funky local flair. We liked it better than Taos 2, same menu. Staff are friendly and we got some great off the beaten path suggestions of things to see. Large portions and good coffee.

I had a salad, the lettuce and veg were all very fresh and tasty but the chicken tasted like they cooked it in the morning and reheated it. It was REALLY dry. My husband had a breakfast burrito and said it was cold in the middle.

Two of my favorite spots for breakfast. They have two Taos locations, North & South both on US Hwy 64 that runs through Taos. Same great food and menu at either location with fantastic fried taters. Their lunches are good and huge too and then they close mid-afternoon. Fun, funny, funky staff who do a great job in a carefree... More

This is a popular place with the locals because of the quality and quantity at a resonable price. I enjoyed lunch and my total bill was about $15, including tip. A plate full of food that was difficult to finish. Many patrons walked away with leftovers fo another meal.

Any time we are in town we stop at the Taos Diner for breakfast. There are usually many regulars there which is always a sign of a great place. The service is great, organic coffee is fresh, and the biscuits are huge. One should definitely try Copper John's Eggs-2 eggs scrambled with chopped green chilies and cheese, served with home... Stopped in for Breakfast before heading up to Taos Ski Valley. Quick and good food. Had the huevos rancheros and they were good. The servers were very polite and the restaurant was clean.

The breakfasts 🍳 are delicious! Gigantic homemade biscuits! Never seen any so big! Eggs done to perfection! Omelet stuffed with ingredients! Potatoes were plain, but perfectly crispy. The portions are beyond ample! You won't be disappointed!

We always hit the Taos diner when we're in town. Breakfast burritos are amazing and the prices are very reasonable. And, you will not leave hungry!

My husband said it was the best breakfast burrito he has had, hot all the way through, with lots of flavor. I had the breakfast enchiladas and they were good too, with green chile sauce. It didn't feel as welcoming to tourists as other restaurants in town, and the coffee could be refilled a little more regularly, but that is... More

Went in for lunch, waited and waited and waited. Waitress out chatting and visiting with a friend. I finally got water, but no service. I finally got up and left. Ate elsewhere. I am local and will never go there again, as this same waitress (tallish, dark hair) has bordered on being rude when she did provide service on other... More
